I know it might get worse, I know the next set of ministers will be just as bad, I know Labour are still in power. But to see Starmer, Reeves, Lammy and the rest of this painfully dreadful cabinet get thrown in the bin is incredibly satisfying.

You lied… again “At this time, the Met Police say they've found no evidence to support any of the 13 arrested being charged with any offences linked to the "far-right terror threat" to an Islamic festival in Suffolk…”
Keir Starmer@Keir_Starmer

Shocking news that Counter Terrorism Police are investigating a credible, serious threat targeted at an Islamic event in Suffolk. Thanks to the quick action taken by police and the organisers, nobody was hurt. My message is clear: I will not tolerate any attacks on our Muslim communities, or any form of anti-Muslim hatred.

“This week it was announced that Matthew McGregor had been appointed as Director of Political Strategy for Andy Burnham in no 10. “McGregor was once Director of Campaigns and Communications for Hope Not Hate, which many people understandably focused on. “But his current organisation, 38 Degrees, is just as odious.” open.substack.com/pub/gillc/p/wh…

Burnham is staffing his office with the men who smeared Ann Widdecombe as a bigot to make her a target.
Connor Tomlinson@Con_Tomlinson

Andy Burnham has hired Matthew McGregor, former Director of Hope Not Hate, as Director of Political Strategy in 10 Downing Street, and Alison Phillips, a current board member of Hope Not Hate, as his Director of Transition. Starmer appointed former Hope Not Hate trustee Baroness Ruth Anderson (formerly Smeeth) as Parliamentary Secretary for the Cabinet Office. Smeeth worked with McGregor at Hope Not Hate. Hope Not Hate continues to be rewarded by the state, despite employing paedophile Labour councillor Liron Velleman and violent communist Matthew Collins. McGregor worked on the Obama campaign in 2012 and led the Hope Not Hate campaign against the Brexit Party in 2019. McGregor is also on the board of charity Reprieve, which campaigns for the abolition of the ability to strip citizenship from the likes of Rochdale rape gang leader Shabir Ahmed and Shamima Begum. Phillips was editor of The Daily Mirror (2018 to 2024), and head of ThinkLabour. He has also hired Hayden Munro, former campaign director for New Zealand's COVID tyrant Jacinda Ardern, and Sarah Brown, who has been Sadiq Khan's communications director for the last five years. Burnham's chief of staff will be friend, former Labour minister, former chair of Blair's Institute for Public Policy Research, and former BBC director of Strategy and Digital, James Purnell. Every patriot now has a target on their back. Expect Burnham to be even worse on immigration and censorship than Starmer.

Toby Young@toadmeister

Earlier today a @Guardian journalist sent me this query: Dear Toby Young, I'm Aisha Down, a journalist at the Guardian. I'm getting in touch because we're planning to report that the US state department is considering a grant of $5m to Free Speech Union, your organisation, as part of a new grant-making scheme, and wanted to give you the chance to comment. We would appreciate receiving your comment by 14:30. We are considering reporting the following: - The grant to the FSU is part of a package to Maga aligned groups that former US officials have condemned as a misuse of public money to seek influence over foreign politics and interfere with democracy. - It is rare for the US government to fund partisan political organisations in western countries. - These grants are likely to pose a challenge to Andy Burnham, who has said he will be "very upfront" with Trump about any disagreements. - These grants - including to your organisation - are "sole source" grants, meaning they are to be awarded without any competitive process. This is unusual for a highly regulated process which usually requires grantees to show they have a track record for handling funds and clear plans for the money. - This lack of process has been criticised as "outrageous and absurd" by former US officials, and as "gross incompetence" and "horrible stewardship" of US taxpayer money. - Your organisation does not appear to have a track record of handling grants of this amount. - We describe your organisation as "a rallying point for “anti-woke” grievance" which "frequently allies itself with rightwing causes" and say that you, Toby Young, appeared on Rees-Mogg's GB news show earlier this month to warn about 'Soviet-style' censorship in the UK. - The state department says that its grant to FSU will “support campaigns promoting free speech and countering digital overregulation across the UK, Europe and Australia”. The sole-source award is justified “due to FSU’s global network of free speech activists”. We would like to fully and fairly reflect your point of view and look forward to your statement. Thank you, -- Aisha Kehoe Down Senior Tarbell Fellow, Guardian News and Media I replied as follows: It sounds like a pretty garbled story. Free Speech Union International, which is the umbrella group that FSU UK, FSU Australia, FSU New Zealand, FSU Canada, FSU South Africa and FSU Brazil sit within, has expressed interest in applying for grant funding from the US State Department. This would be to promote the right to freedom of expression in those countries, which, far from being a partisan cause, is a universal human right. But it hasn't submitted a formal application and, consequently, has been awarded no grant from the State Department or any other branch of the US Government. You've mischaracterised the FSUs, all of which are non-partisan organisations that defend people who get into trouble for exercising their right to feee speech regardless of their political views. The FSU UK, for instance, is currently paying for the legal defence of a protestor who's being prosecuted for holding up a sign saying "I support Palestine Action", as well as a protestor for wearing a t-shirt at a Unite the Kingdom rally for saying "Fuck Islam Christ is King". Yes, we helped Lucy Connolly appeal her sentence -- we thought a prison sentence of over two-and-a-half years for a single tweet was excessive -- but we also tweeted yesterday, condemning the arrest of Heather Herbert and offering our support. Yes, we came to the defence of Nigel Farage when he was debanked, but we've also offered to help the Canary in its recent debanking case. So to describe the FSU UK as a "rallying point for anti-woke grievance" is misleading. We are a rallying point for those who want to defend the right to freedom of expression. Best, Toby The @Guardian then ran this story: theguardian.com/us-news/2026/j… You be the judge of whether you think this is good journalism.

@nyaraVT Trannies have ERRC and women have Beira’s place. What’s the problem? Also, if troons are so in need of the service why are so many of them in the slammer for the same crime?

It's terrifying how you're using your platform and wealth to harm innocent trans adults and children. Trans women are 4 times more likely to be VICTIMS of SA than cis women and people like you celebrate that. You want more of this violence, because you view us as subhuman.
J.K. Rowling@jk_rowling

Trans-identified men in Edinburgh are fortunate enough to be welcome at the Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre, which was headed for a while by a trans-identified man who believed, and said publicly, that women who wanted a female-only service were bigots. That same rape centre admitted a male as a client because he called himself non-binary. The man was subsequently convicted for rape. Beira’s Place was set up by me to provide women in Edinburgh and the Lothians with the female-only service they were being denied. Internal emails between ERRC staff were revealed during an unrelated court case, which showed them to be angry and dismayed that there was now an alternative service for women. One might have thought, reading those emails, that ERRC staff’s priority was the ideological conversion of rape survivors rather than the provision of a service that traumatised women required to feel safe after rape. Beira’s Place has been exceptionally busy since it opened. We’ve taken on more staff and are currently looking for larger premises. We’ve helped women who’ve admitted that they didn’t want to use the alternative rape centre because of its very loud and public ‘trans women are women’ stance. We are also open to any and all trans-identified women who need support after rape. In short, you’ll be relieved to hear that the trans-identified men for whom you feel such empathy and compassion aren’t losing out. It was biological women who were being shamed for their entirely legitimate desire for a male-free space. Apparently you’d have preferred that situation to continue, but I think you’ll find that most people, whether male or female, will see that as evidence of your cruelty, not mine.

Sadiq Khan was President of the Fabian Society. Keir Starmer is still a member. Andy Burnham has written for them. Never heard of the Fabian Society? That's exactly how they like it. Here's what they say on their OWN website. “Every Labour prime minister has been a Fabian.” Their words. Not mine. Blair. Brown. Corbyn. Starmer. Now Burnham. More than half the current Cabinet. 141 sitting MPs, a number they boast about themselves. Starmer even wrote their 2021 pamphlet, The Road Ahead, his whole governing blueprint, handed to him by them. Their coat of arms is a WOLF IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING. They chose that themselves. Their method has a name too. Permeation. Change so slow and so quiet you never notice it happening. Until one day you look up and the country looks nothing like the one you grew up in. They don't stand for election. They don't appear on any ballot you've ever seen. They write the policy before the minister reads it. Then they hand it to whoever's face is at the front. The face changes. The machine never does. Now watch what just happened this week. Starmer, on his way out the door, handed Sadiq Khan a permanent seat in the House of Lords. For life. No vote. No election. Khan ran this organisation as its President. He's still one of their vice presidents today. Now he gets to shape your laws forever. There is NO LAW stopping a Lord becoming Prime Minister. Alec Douglas-Home did it in 1963. Khan could hand back the peerage tomorrow, win a by-election, and go for the top job. Starmer thought he was being clever. He handed his most dangerous rival a platform and a route to Number 10. When Starmer tried to block Burnham's path, 8 votes to 1, Khan publicly backed Burnham. One of them fighting the other. Both of them Fabians. Whoever won, the machine won. Then there's Burnham himself. He ran for leader twice. Lost both times. The public never once chose him for anything bigger than Manchester. Seat in June. Downing Street by July. Not elected. INSTALLED. Blair then Corbyn then Starmer then suddenly Farage when Reform surged. Four men. Four directions. He turned to face every one the moment it started winning. That's not conviction. That's a WEATHER VANE with a salary. He's the face on the front. Behind him sits the real machine. The Fabian Society, writing the ideas. The permanent civil service, unelected, unmovable, running the country long after the face at the front has gone. Officials who were here before Starmer, before the Tories, and will be here long after Reform has had its turn. They don't stand for election. You can't vote them out. You never voted them in. The Fabians shape the thinking. The civil service holds the levers. Burnham just reads the lines. 142 years. Same organisation. Same civil service. Same machine. Different face and not one person in this country ever voted for any of it.

Yeah, we interfered first. We helped the Obama admin spy on Trump and his family. We then helped cover it up. We even had one of our spies write a fake dossier, so the Obama admin could justify the spying. We then sent Labour party members to the US, to campaign for Kamala. Your hypocrisy is stunning old chap.
