@sbeamer kind of randomly, I am very interested in green computing and have co-written enough papers to be close to a phd and then to move into academia on my way to passing on what I know ... and then retire. What would my next step be?

When I first started the ESSENT project and told people I was accelerating RTL simulation, they always asked if I was parallelizing it. I wasn't. I was able to get speedups with a single-thread and was afraid of parallel. (2/3)
