A lot of founders in Africa are struggling. We should normalize talking about our failures for the purpose of learning. There's a lot of value that can be gotten from those lessons learnt over the cause of building your business. One thing I love about the Silicon Valley founders is how they see their failures as lessons and not failures* and pass that on to other founders. They even write books and make documentaries on their experience, from which we pick a lot of value. Here in Africa, we are shamed for facing setbacks and failing. We need to change that mindset and start embracing failure more because that's the only way we get better!
