@MattWalshBlog This is what happens when your secretary of war is a warrior instead of a deep thinker. They should have used the initial bombing phase as a distraction to take over and control the Straight of Hormuz. Now it’s next to impossible.

Some of us expressed great concern about the Iran War when it was first launched. We were shouted down and condemned as “panicans” and “blackpillers” and even Islamist sympathizers. But it’s pretty clear from how things have gone that our concerns were absolutely reasonable and legitimate. Maybe Trump will get us out of this thing soon and it still won’t spiral into a long and drawn out war. But even if that happens — and I’m not convinced it will — no thoughtful person can deny at this point that the spiral and long war scenario is very much a possibility. No reasonable person, at this stage, can say that our concerns were irrational. What looks irrational now — and always did — is the demand for blind allegiance and unthinking “trust” in our elected leaders, as though we are called to have faith in politicians like we have faith in God.

@ExoGhost If this movement came to Warzone you would instantly see the player base expand. It would be exponential. Streamers would hate it, but the average players would flock to the game again.

I will never understand the argument “well coaches get to leave whenever they want so why can’t the players?” If you don’t see a difference between the career/profession side and the college athlete side then I don’t really know how to discuss that topic with you.

American college sports is a phenomenon that is unique in all of the world. What makes (made?) it such a phenomenon is not it's compliance with labor laws. It was its unique melding of athletics, academics and the fan fervor it generated. Pay for play and the transfer portal is more economically-just and compliant with current laws, but one must be a fool not to recognize that it knocks the industry off of its foundation. We can argue whether that tradeoff is a good thing. In the moment, the lawyers and a fraction of the players would say yes. The vast majority of the fans and the universities disagree. We'll see how the chips fall, but to deny that the new rules are creating deleterious effects is disingenuous and arrogant.

Black Ops Royale custom tourneys are very boring to watch. There’s no economy, no interesting missions, players are just trying to survive with the first guns they find 🤷🏻‍♂️ I really enjoy the mode, especially since solo mode, but as viewer the competitive experience is just boring

@kklovnn That version of Warzone is completely wiped. They had to literally remake the map when it came to the BO6 engine.
