Just received this from my friend Ofer Cassif (Knesset Member): I don’t really have anything to say in the face of unhinged terrorism, sometimes whitewashed with the name “settler violence”. In the dead of night, white supremacists went from one village to another, pogrom after pogrom, dozens of them, likely over 100. They were seen and heard by the occupation forces who did not stop them, they allowed them to do this. So did the entire Israeli society, who’s silent and passive, if not actively complicit. They beat people to unconsciousness, tear gas them, burn their houses and belongings, steal hundreds of sheep, break and throw stones and shoot. If there were only words to describe the screams we heard from the next village, knowing the one we were in was next. It was. The terrorists without uniform blocked ambulances and the terrorists in uniform came and shook their hands. Armed, all of them. Anyone who wishes to know what is happening and specifically happened last night can find the information and documentation very easily. Claims of lack of awareness or ability to understand what’s right and wrong is pure illiteracy and ignorance. God bless the people of Massafer Yatta, their strength and generosity. Even in one of the worst nights to befall upon them, they made sure everyone around had a cup of tea in their hand.

Thank god these brave countries have stood up to condemn this brand new phenomenon of Israeli settlement building in the West Bank. There is literally nothing else they can do to stop this.
