What a productive and important week of my career!
1. Hit Gym for 6 days
2. Got some good opportunity by @Hiteshdotcom ( more content coming)
3. Recorded around 8-9hr of content for Udemy and youtube .
4. Got my “Database internals book”
5. Got a chance to take weekend live session on chaicode ( around 6hr of content)
Another day, another awesome class.
Had a great practice on coding the schema that we created. Will rewatch and code again for the muscle memory to kick in like it did for ER diagrams.
We are going to be unstoppable in the coming days !

One thing i learned through db design, the knowledge of the concern is important, observation is key, if's and but's makes things better, and there is nothing like perfect.
Google was my friend, I have limited knowledge and used it to understand the components of a system, the aspects connected to it. I spend substantial time on this, ain't that smart. :)
The addition to this could be sponsors, broadcasting rights, maybe live updates of a match. I might be missing a lot of aspects to a match here, let me know if I can improve. Cricbuzz was helpful
match flow:
1. single broadcaster can have broadcast right for different venues
2. one venue can have many matches
3. each match has 1 match result
4. player stats throughout the match can be tracked
5. player stats in each season can be tracked
User flow:
1. Central user table
2. separate table for player coaches & owners
3. Many owners can have a single team
4. a sponsor can sponsor many teams
5. one coach can be coaching diff teams in diff seasons
6. one player can be playing in different teams in diff seasons
Here is my take on IPL management system.
It is quite simple modelled however this was really fun and quick to make, I see the ER practice throughout the week is paying off.

It was an amazing class from start to end 🙌
This session about file management and using third party applications to store files would serve as a good base 🔥

75% of my SQL labs done.
Starts easy… then every query humbles you a little more.
One thing that really helped me: understanding the actual execution order of SQL 👇
FROM → JOIN → WHERE → GROUP BY → HAVING → SELECT → DISTINCT → ORDER BY → LIMIT

Most people:
“Let’s create tables first”
Good developers:
“Let’s understand data first”
This mindset changes everything in DB design.
Here’s a simple ER diagram step by step guide for beginners

Analytics:
1. Find most-used elevators via ride data
2. Replay full journey (floors + wait time) using movement logs
3. Track elevator status at any point in time
4. Maintain complete maintenance history
Movement:
1. User makes a request
2. Request is assigned to a floor
3. Elevator takes request and starts a ride
4. elevator_movement take records of the movement of elevator
