2019 Corn yield contest resulted in highest yield of 616.19 bu/ac. (ncga.com/file/1745/Nati…) IF you could go 5 mph on a 16 row 30” head, that’d be approx 15,000 bu/hr or 4.16 bu/s. Only a few combines on the market can even unload that fast... Talk about a logistics challenge!

The best corn conditions in the country may be in ND with 79% good-to-excellent. Contrast that with IL at 37%, IN at 38%, OH at 34% and MO at 28%. The states with the best good-to-excellent ratings for soybeans are NE at 73% and ND at 69%.
