@schvadigo @LarryBoorstein It would be odd for them to not be installed since they had the "Sole Source Justification" from March 31st so they didn't have to get other bids on it and it was supposed to be done in time for the refilling. It's the document at the bottom of sam.gov/workspace/cont…

The Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool is like a Petri dish* for algae. Donald Trump had the pool contractor who works at Mar-a-Lago recoat the Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool Old Glory Blue, which he called "American flag blue." Trump said the people who did the work were "patriotic." The company got paid $14,191,477.48 for the work. Trump is a hack real estate developer from Queens, New York, not a master builder. He knows nothing about reflecting pools. The pool became filled with algae 5 days after being refilled, showing what happpens when people don't know what they're doing. A nanobubbler ozonification system was supposed to ameliorate the problem with algae in the pool. It didn't. The pool has had chronic problems with algae since being switched from municipal water to water from the Tidal Basin in 2012. Municipal water is clean and chlorinated. Tidal Basin water is full of algae and not chlorinated. "The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool is not continuously chlorinated in the same way a standard swimming pool is. Instead, it relies on a large circulation and filtration system that draws water from the Tidal Basin and uses ozone disinfection." "Yes, a 15 to 30-inch deep pool is highly likely to develop algae. In fact, these shallow depths are ideal for algae—which thrive in warm, sunlit, and stagnant water. Airborne spores land in the water and can multiply into a visible bloom within just 24 to 48 hours." The water in the Tidal Basin comes directly from the Potomac River. "The Potomac River supports several types of algae, including essential green algae and diatoms, but it frequently experiences blooms of cyanobacteria (blue-green algae)." Source of quoted text: Gemini * "A Petri dish is a shallow, transparent, lidded dish used by biologists to culture microorganisms like bacteria, fungi, and cells. It is usually filled with a nutrient-rich gel called agar..." Source: Gemini

Despite a multimillion dollar renovation project which saw President Donald Trump ordering workers to paint the base of the National Mall's Reflecting Pool blue, algae could be seen in the water, turning the water green

@robertgraham I’ve never seen so many people truly investing their souls on whether he reflecting pool has algae or not. There got to be a poly market bet going

This actually shows that the water is relatively clear so that we can see the algae on the bottom. Normally, there's so much algae in the water that you cannot see the bottom that's only 18 inches below the surface. So it's clearer. Yet, that's due to chemicals and maintenance workers that didn't exist before, and not due to his rennovation. He's trying to pretend his rennovations were a success when they were meaningless. Note: the National Park Service was going to regrout and fix most of the leaks this spring anyway, before Trump decided to paint it dark blue.

Let that sink in. An innocent young track athlete had his entire future stolen by an act of unchecked violence. Austin Metcalf was brutally murdered at a school function by a criminal with clear intent. 💔 And here is what they are not showing you. Soft - on - crime judges and liberal policies continue to protect dangerous thugs while ignoring the agonizing pain of victims. A thirty - five year sentence for cold - blooded murder is an absolute insult to this grieving family. We must demand real justice and keep these monsters behind bars permanently. Say his name.

@DarkWolfInfo @LarryBoorstein Now the latest is the NYT is incorrect and the permanent nano scrubbers were NOT yet installed. But now they have temporary ones shame on NYT if that’s true. The misinformation is real nowadays all over

@schvadigo @LarryBoorstein The current system installed this past month cost $1.8 million, I would think that they would gotten the specs done properly the first time. Those things are not exactly cheap, will be interesting to see what the final cost will be.

“I don’t think the 35-year sentence for a first-time offender… is fair.” says Stephen A. Smith I wonder how many murders are prefered for a 35 year sentence. 🤨 There shouldn't be a second offense, am I wrong here?

The NY Times is wrong. The NanoBubble filtration system has not been installed. Four temporary ones are working. New one this week by Greenway Services. Atlantic Industrial Coating installed the “American flag blue” waterproofing sealant.

@emilymiller Thank you. I thought the permanent nanobubbler was installed during the restoration, so I was very puzzled how so much algae got in there so fast.

Terrible person to call me “dumb” for reporting the exclusive facts directly from the sources. Anyway. The color of bottom has nothing to do with the algae bloom over the weekend. Facts are not debatable
david D.@secretsqrl123

@emilymiller dumbest post ever. as long as the pool is black and there is heat and sun the water will be green. thats nature

@DarkWolfInfo @LarryBoorstein I think the technology and what they did at Ohio State was pretty cool. Also I don’t try and put blame on either president for trying to fix a difficult problem. Obama tried and failed not one peep from anyone but now it’s a the top interest from democrats that hate Trump

@schvadigo @LarryBoorstein That is what I will be doing. But remember, that was the same thing many in the Obama administration were saying as well and we seen how that turned out.
