Good money is made in beaten down sectors whose down cycle is almost coming to an end & about whom markets have totally forgotten. One such ignored sector is Lubricants. Amidst the hype of EVs ,revenues of lubricant companies have been growing , although margins have been hit 1/2

Considering the smallest flat is 2600 sqft here, at ₹12k/sqft will be ₹3.13 Cr 😶‍🌫️ Add 20% easily on top for taxes, funiture, electronics and interiors to justify the cost, final cost ₹3.75 Cr 😵‍💫 As a DINKWAD couple, we ran the numbers and even if we put 25% as downpayment by draining all the savings we still can't afford a ₹2.13L/ month EMI for the next 30 years. 👾 Conclusion : They are not building for the middle class people like us but for HNIs and generational wealthy folks. #Hyderabad

🚨My home Vyoma: A Rare Large-Scale, Low-Density Upcoming Launch in Financial District My Home Vyoma is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated residential launches in Financial District for 2026 , located opposite Tabula Rasa and behind One West and GP Trends. Key highlight:This is one of the very few large-scale, low-density developments in Financial District in recent years (after Prestige High Fields), with a strong focus on open spaces. In a micro-market where density has been increasing, this kind of planning is rare and may not be repeated again. The project sits on 22.34 acres with 2260 apartments across 12 towers, translating to just about 100 units per acre, which is low for this location, that too with 50+ floors. Basic details: • 11 regular towers (4B+G+51 floors) • 1 premium tower (4B+G+49 floors) • Floor height: Regular ~11.3 ft & Premium Tower: 11.8 ft Apartment sizes: • 3 BHK: 2,606 to 3,194 sq.ft • 4 BHK: 3,520 to 3,845 sq.ft • 4 BHK + Maid: 4,197 sq.ft • Premium Tower : 9,328 sq.ft (with home theatre, office, maid room) - Just 49 Units The project is RERA approved with a completion deadline of February 2031. The formal launch is expected in the next couple of months, and early estimates suggest pricing could be above ₹12,000 per sq.ft, making it one of the most expensive launches from My Home Group so far ( or just below Myhome 99). Given the combination of location, scale, and unusually low density, this is being seen as a rare opportunity in Financial District. Smaller configurations are expected to see strong demand and may get absorbed quickly in the initial launch phase.

One of the most outrageous market predictions on TV which even left Anuj stunned! "Nifty can rise to 35,000 in the next 12-15 months HDFC Bank is trading at 1.7x price to book, a lesson for me also after 25 years that anything is possible in the market. FIIs have been selling Indian banks and taking the AI trade. SpaceX listing may mark top of US bull market. And I believe Banks and IT will lead the rally"

I don't know who else to tell this to, so I am going to tell my story here. Every day is a struggle for a young business, but the last few months have been harder than usual. We are a small Indian company. For more than ten years we have been building a homegrown brand in a product category dominated by big foreign players. There are almost no Indian names in this space. We set out to be one. We started in 2014. Over the years we began making parts in India instead of just importing, and we started selling in the US, Dubai, Nepal, Malaysia and South Africa. We showed up at global trade fairs to represent an Indian brand on the world stage. In 2023 we changed the import code we use for our product. We did not do this quietly. Every shipment was declared. Nothing was hidden. We didn't invent our approach. We followed written professional advice and the way this product is treated in markets around the world. And now we are facing a government demand running into tens of crores in duty recovery and penalties, plus personal penalties on the founders and even on an employee. For a company our size, this is not a fine we can pay and move on from. This ends us. We have not run from any of this. I am not built like that. It is not how I was raised. We have written to the authorities, met officials in person, and we have now filed a writ in the High Court. All we are asking for is a fair treatment. I set out to build in India and sell to the world. I am asking only that the system back honest founders trying to compete globally, instead of breaking them. The process is the process, and it exists for a reason. But process should not feel like punishment. From where I am standing today, it does. I am not giving up. I have worked too hard for this. If you have read this far, please share it. If you know someone who can help, point them my way. Help me get the word out.

I was talking with an NRI friend. Not rich. His 2 years old daughter suffered skull fracture due to fall. Local hospital transferred her promptly helicopter to the tertiary Children’s hospital in major city. (Imagine a middle class kid air transferred from Merath to National Children’s hospital in Delhi without any worry for cost). Thats what we should be aiming for. But Same NRIs will tell you how health care in India is the best because they could get X-ray of their bruised Pinky finger immediately in posh hospital in India. Don’t listen to them.

Cost is irrelevant. No one is denied emergency service in USA irrespective of their capability to pay and even if they haven’t paid previous bills. Not paying has its consequences but that’s different story. Can you expect lower middle class or poor kid airlifted from Merath to Delhi? If not I don’t care about your arguments really.

Over two years, a speculative attack of around $150b has happened against the rupee. Individually those decisions were rational in a certain sense. Importers buying more dollars, exporters selling less dollars, investors hedging more than usual, speculators going naked long etc. The unwind will also be sharp, except that RBI will be building back its reserves and/or letting the forward short book organically decline. All those talking about the rupee going to 100 and beyond will have to wait long - perhaps forever.

I have lived in Russia and former CIS for 20 years, travelling to Russia for longer than that. 7 years straight in Russia. Moscow is Moscow and no Russian considers it representative of Russia. You have two other major cities then a handful of cities with 1 million plus. All quite nice. Then you have 110-115 million living in squalor worse than most of the third world. You will find it hard to find an honest Russian who disagrees with me.

Not a liar just someone allergic to propaganda. Kaliningrad is sovereign Russian territory since 1945. Transnistria hosts Russian peacekeepers by treaty. "Grey zone" cuts both ways and NATO expansion, color revolutions, and proxy wars far outpace it. As for financing parties, look at who funds Atlanticist NGOs and coups across Europe. "Russia delenda est" is just bankrupt empire cope. History says otherwise.

Very Good Question by Sunny Ji. Let me explain... There are multiple icons in a Schengen Visa stamp 1. This → means entry 2. This ← means exit 3. Icon on right hand corner signifies mode of transport used to enter or exit ✈️🚗🚢🚂 4. In case you walk in and cross the border, then you get 🚗stamp itself 5. Date signifies the date of entry or exit depending on the arrow 6. The details below show the name of the border/airport/cruise terminal/Railway Station etc along with the city name 7. Left hand corner is the short form for the country. Like CH= Switzerland. D=Germany, NL = Netherlands and so on. Now that you have understood the stamp icons+ content and its meaning etc, let's know why is the entry stamp put when the traveler was denied entry and not an exit stamp. As per the process, the traveler was denied entry hence the visa officer needs to: 1. Fill the standard form for denial and get it signed by the traveler. Traveller can deny to sign the form too and the visa officer will mention the same in comments. 2. The officer has to put the entry stamp and then put 4 lines across each side to signify the decision and then in inverted comma add the letter for which the entry was denied. In the below case, "E" is mentioned 3. The traveler visa is cancelled with an "Annulliert" / "REVOKED" stamp across the visa copy which makes it null and void. Exit is only stamped in passport when a valid entry was stamped earlier. Hope this clarifies Sunny Ji? + to others who may have had similar doubts. Now some fun facts totally unrelated. I entered Serbia via land and got an entry stamp. Then I crossed via land border into Kosovo. Now Serbia doesn't consider Kosovo as an independent country but they consider it as part of Serbia. Hence on exit they don't stamp the passport. But as you try entering Kovovo they stamp another entry stamp as they consider themselves as an independent country. Now post Kosovo I exited and went to North Macedonia. At border crossing at Kosovo they stamped my passport with an exit stamp. So now I have entered and exited Kosovo and not Serbia. And as on date as per stamps I am in Serbia itself and not exited. Now if you do the trip in reverse you may face denial etc. Story for some other day.😉
Sunny@ksun07_

@outofofficedaku Show the entry denied stamp then what you’re showing is the exit stamp that used to be put on passport of someone who had entered and was leaving.

Bombay Dyeing has a market cap of around Rs 2,300 crore. The company is sitting on approximately Rs 1,400 crore in cash and fixed deposits. Just the ongoing Three ICC luxury tower in Dadar has a revenue potential of Rs 6,500 crore. The realization from a single scheme in Dadar is nearly 3x the entire market cap, and margins could be 50%+. Think about that for a second. This is a Wadia Group company. One of the oldest business houses in India. The textile business is what people associate with the name but that is not where the value is. The value is in the land. Prime Mumbai land. And nobody is pricing it correctly. Bombay Realty, the real estate arm, has two flagship developments in the heart of Mumbai. Island City Centre at Dadar and Wadia International Centre at Worli. The Dadar land parcel alone has a total development potential of 30-35 lakh square feet. At current Mumbai luxury pricing of Rs 50,000-55,000 per square foot, you are looking at Rs 15,000 crore of gross development value. From one location. They already sold 22 acres at Worli to Sumitomo Realty for Rs 5,200 crore. That cash came in, debt got wiped out, and the balance sheet is now essentially debt-free. Debt-to-equity is 0.1%. The company has more cash than total debt. That Worli monetization alone was more than double the current market cap. And they still have land left. As per management interview, they have 800+ Acres (BD + Wadia Group) of land across India, out of that 80 + in Mumbai. Plus the massive Dadar development that is just getting started with Three ICC. The core textile and polyester business is struggling. FY26 revenue fell 9% to Rs 1,460 crore. Full year PAT collapsed 94% to Rs 27 crore. Q4 showed improvement with PAT up 82% but that was driven by other income, not operations. The operating business is fundamentally unprofitable right now. But here is the thing. You are not buying Bombay Dyeing for the textile business. You are buying it for the land bank. The textile business is a legacy cost centre that the market is using to discount the entire company. Strip out the operating losses and just look at what is on the balance sheet. Rs 1,400 crore cash. Zero debt. And land in Dadar and other locations worth multiples of the market cap. If the Wadias decide to go aggressive on real estate development, this company reprices overnight. Even a joint development model where they contribute land and a developer puts in the capital would unlock enormous value. The Three ICC launch is the first real signal that they are getting serious about monetization. The risk is pace. The Wadias have historically been slow to monetize. The textile business continues to bleed cash. And real estate development timelines in Mumbai are unpredictable. If they take another 5-7 years to develop Dadar fully, the value erosion from the textile side could offset some of the land upside. Rumours are the next launch is in Thane. With this they wouldn't just be a one off scheme real estate player. New hires are there. But at Rs 2,300 crore market cap for a debt-free company sitting on Rs 1,300 crore cash with Rs 15,000+ crore of developable real estate in South Mumbai, the risk-reward is heavily skewed in one direction. The market is giving you Mumbai land at a fraction of what any developer would pay for it. Views are personal. For educational purposes only. Not investment advice.
