I disappeared from X and rollerbladed every day for a month. Along the way, I learned lessons on wheels that apply just as much to life.
Here six lessons I learned from rollerblading that apply to everyday life. (Thread 1/6)
1. Bend Your Knees (Stay Humble)
One of the first things you learn in rollerblading is to bend your knees.
A lower stance makes you more stable because it lowers your center of gravity.
And if you fall, you're already closer to the ground, reducing the impact.
Life works the same way. Humility keeps you grounded in reality. It helps you stay open to feedback, learn faster, and adapt when things don't go as planned.
The people who fall the hardest are often the ones who think they've already mastered everything.
Stay low. Stay teachable. Stay balanced.
