Sunday night fun facts about me:
- My name is Mike 👋
- Born on a USAF base in Germany 🇩🇪 in '84, moved back to 🇺🇸 when I was two
- Been married to my dream girl since 2012 (married way up)
- Our first date was to go see The Hangover in 2009; after that we went out to eat and ESPN was on at the bar; she started breaking down Lovie Smith's defensive scheme; almost asked her to marry me on the spot 😂
- Two beautiful children - 7 & 5
- Lived with my mother-in-law for three years to dig out of cc debt, student loan debt, and save for a home
- Moved into our home in 2016 (refi'd at 2.62% 🤩)
- Been investing like crazy since then; two rental properties & brokerage accounts
- Made a lot of mistakes; cc debt, gambled, financed a car I couldn't afford, day traded, etc. Those phases are done now.
- On a mission to teach our children how to build wealth the boring way & be financially free by 30 (both have custodial accounts)
- Also on a mission to be work optional in 2-5 years
- Rooting for everyone to reach their goals

Energy isn't meant to be hidden, it’s meant to be shared. 🌟 I’ve always believed that our greatest wealth lies in the connections we build and how we impact the people around us. For me, being an extrovert is about much more than just talking a lot; it’s about having the sensitivity to listen, connect, and make any environment feel lighter and more welcoming. This photo captures my true essence: human, vibrant, and always ready for the next great conversation! 🤝

Create an ultra-realistic fantasy winter portrait using the uploaded face as the exact identity reference. Preserve 100% of the person's facial structure, proportions, skin texture, eye shape, eyebrows, nose, lips, hairstyle, expression, and all unique facial features. Position the subject seated gracefully in the center of a snow-covered forest clearing, slightly angled about 30 degrees toward the camera. Dress the subject in a flowing elegant white gown with delicate lace sleeves, a modest V-neckline, and a luxurious deep crimson velvet cape trimmed with thick white fur. Style the hair in an elegant updo with loose curls framing the face and subtle pearl accessories. Place one vibrant bullfinch perched gently on the subject's hand and another resting naturally on the shoulder. Add a small woven basket filled with bright red winter berries in the snow beside the subject. Surround the scene with tall snow-covered pine trees softly blurred in the background. Illuminate the portrait with soft diffused winter daylight, creating a calm, magical atmosphere with delicate shadows and subtle highlights. Capture realistic skin pores, lifelike eyes, intricate fabric textures, detailed bird feathers, shallow depth of field, creamy bokeh, HDR lighting, 85mm lens, f/1.8, ultra-sharp focus, 8K resolution, masterpiece quality, photorealistic, luxury editorial fantasy aesthetic.

@alecsime We can't predict the future but we can show up and do the work
English

@JamesMalsawm this is real. the not knowing if it pays off is the hardest part, way harder than actually doing the work. you just keep showing up because you believe it eventually clicks
English

@DanielSmidstrup I mean you're doing already amazing why not double down in it?

If you delete the word "fail" from your grammar then you will be fine..

Building something meaningful isn't glamorous. It's missing weekends. Working when nobody believes in you. Putting your savings on the line. Wondering if it'll ever pay off. The hard part isn't starting. It's staying when nothing is guaranteed.

Just hit 1,000 followers.🎉🍾
Thank you to the Build in Public community for helping turn 100 into four digits.
I noticed every bit of support.🙏
5,000 is the next number… but it’s no longer the main goal.
People first.
Relationships first.
Useful posts first.
The numbers can follow when they’re ready.
Back to work.

994 followers -> 6 more and I hit the mythical four-digit club. Not begging. I’m just documenting the final 0.6% of the journey for science 🥸 If you feel generous with a helping hand, cool. 🙏 If not, I’ll still be here coding.

@Vision_For_All_ Let's not be more people who give up in the boring middle
English

@JamesMalsawm True. The real test is staying committed when the results are still invisible.
English

@JamesMalsawm I always wonder if it will ever pay off. That's the question I normally ask myself whenever I choose to pursue something
English

@DanielAchog and it's not a competition of who move fast; it's the competition of who Stand up longer.
English

@manishkumar8862 Mood don't count, only action and system we can follow to get there.
English

@JamesMalsawm Yes, we have to work irrespective of our mood
English

@BajanRyan246 we need to learn to enjoy the process for it's the only way to get there.
English

@JamesMalsawm The people who create something meaningful are often the ones who keep going through the seasons where there is no applause.
English

@JamesMalsawm Building something meaningful is about getting boring
You will not understand what working everyday is about
English

@AIwithNatalia if we want it, life won't hand us over. We must take it.
English

@JamesMalsawm Absolutely. The real challenge is staying committed even when success isn't guaranteed. Keep moving forward.
