@PFEW_HQ Do PFEW know the benefits of not immediately accepting the tribunal findings against PFEW for direct age discrimination and victimisation?

Do you know the benefits of double crewing?

@NorthantsChief @NorthantsPolice 20+ years ago now and not many still serving. Good luck to those in the new venture and was the best 8 years of my career.

@Rich_Cooke1 @westmidspolfed Really pleased for you and your hard work has gotten you back to where you belong. I’m not WMP and thought what previously happened was disgraceful. Glad you stood up for yourself 👍

@CopsAgainst Being in the #PensionTrap myself I’ve always felt this will introduce further age discrimination. Glad to see this is continually being pushed 👍
English

Should point out, the #PensionTrap is as alive for firefighters as it is Police Officers. We’re happy to speak to @fbunational to discuss or explain our arguments in greater detail

@PFEW_Che @CopsAgainst @PFEW_HQ Need an NCALT package to increase pension knowledge 😂. I’m going in 2025 on 30 years aged 52 (27 in 87 scheme) no matter what the outcome is as it will still be better in my situation than working the extra 3 years. I’m 50 next year so will always be 28 days from leaving 🥳.
English

@CopsAgainst @PFEW_HQ Cheers Lee, technical gremlins aside, I thought it a really useful discussion 👍🏽
Read the article, communication will always be difficult with a subject as complex as pensions. Hopefully working together, we can address this, to ensure everyone is suitably informed.
English

@PFEW_Che I do get that, the point I’m making is the legacy pension is still a factor as I would have to work for almost nothing for 2 years just to get the 2015 part at 55 reduced from 60. It is not simply a case of legacy scheme stops after 01/04/22.
English

@scott975 The terms of the CARE scheme are such that all scheme members are treated the same. If someone without legacy pension chose to leave at 53, they too would be subjected to AR from SPA. The retirement ages are built into the scheme on the basis of longer life expectancy.

#Pensions Q&A Video (Part 1) up now, relating to the publication of the consultation document

English

@PFEW_Che 1/2 I will be 53 when I complete 30 years (27 in 87 scheme). Why should my 2015 be reduced from SPA if receiving from 55 compared if I was 55 on completing 30 years?. Net wage compared to pension for working the extra 2 years to 55 approx £120 a week.
