Imagine finding out you couldn’t play in the Masters just days before you were going to tee it up at Augusta. And then never earning your way back. My deep dive into the story of Bruce Robertson and a forgotten Masters heartbreak. golfdigest.com/story/masters-…

@ransegall Sorry you are having to go thru that Ran. Truly heartbreaking and I can’t even imagine.

@vanschneider I like the one with them bumper as it pulls your eye from top, to cloud, to headlight, to bumper. Great image!

@imPatrickT Yeah, it’s definitely not the same but part of that is the movies being made. Seems like a combination of things.

i worked at a movie theater from 2005-2010 and i swear going to the movies today just doesn't feel the same.
the multiplex would be packed fri/sat/sun... i'm talking all hands on deck and we could never keep up with the concessions or cleaning theaters. it was chaotic but everyone was excited. you could feel it in the air.
people didn't only come for movies... they came for that collective experience high.
now you walk into a theater and maybe there's a few people lined up for popcorn but everyone shows up 10 min late to try and avoid commercials... so the lobby is typically sparse and baron.
assigned seating is great but it truly changed the crowd levels and the energy of walking into a movie theater.
it's very transactional today.
maybe i'm crazy but that buzz is gone. the only experiences that come close anymore are usually thursday previews with super fans. i used to be excited to see anything in a theater... now im only excited for specific films.
has anyone else noticed this? people are clearly going to the movies but why does it feel so different?

I've never seen a dog make friends as quickly and easily as Mac, and the energy he brought everywhere, including to the studio, was infectious. It's hard to not have that anymore, but doggie heaven just got its all-time best guard dog ♥️♥️♥️

I'm still in disbelief and it absolutely pains me to say this, but on Friday I had to say goodbye to my absolute best friend in the entire world, Mac. While I'm still in complete shock he's gone, thankfully I have thousands of photos of him and that I'd like to share.
