I worked my ASS OFF at work this month I earned a decent bonus I haven't had a new home console since the Dreamcast in 1999 Wife surprised me with a brand new Series X (physical ofc) I was *originally* going to get a PS5 Pro with my bonus But Sony decided to raise their prices two days ago and I'm just not paying $900 for a PlayStation absolutely not, on principle Sure, there's a few exclusive titles I want to play but I don't care that much tbh Plus I like the Microsoft controllers significantly better even tho I have always been a PS person in the past I really just wanted the ability to play Code Veronica, and the occasional AAA title that isn't available on Switch So a week or so after the Sony accouncement I changed my mind and we agreed once we got a current gen console we would do a Series X It's crazy to have something new for once we have stepped into the 21st century PC Elitists- calm down. I don't want a gaming PC, I don't care that they're objectively better and more versatile don't be annoying please thanks Now to play my 25 year old game with state if the art hardware!!

@BoneHead669 @Tusk_4Real the priced up base ps5 is the same price as an xbox series x..... not all, but many, its missing duds like Redfall but has Halo, Gears, Forza, Fable, and more It gets less modern games, so its objectively inferior in that regard. PS5 gets Halo, but Xbox wont get God of War 🤷‍♂️

If you watched the videos you'd see Smith's criticisms are all valid, he's a huge fan of Johto and approached it from a good faith game design perspective. He even led a project where all the major problems with the games are fixed while still trying to feel like a vanilla game, not a rom hack. Once you play Crystal Legacy, you won't wanna play the original version. It's a love letter. Growing up is realizing that most pokemon games are not very good and have at least one or two major issues affect the quality of the experience. Wanting them to be better and having the resources to improve them is pretty awesome, actually.

it was like, five or six years ago, i wanna say when AC valhalla came out, that a game map like this would have been called "ubislop trash" and "junk to fill up an open world" so i'm just kind of confused as to why this is raising the bar and good now

Halo just can’t catch a break man. Microsoft hasn’t been able to do anything right with this series since Bungie left. Whether it’s 343 or anyone else. Halo 4 - Mid CE Anniversary - Bad Halo 5 - Horrendous MCC - Didn’t work for 4 years Infinite - Decent but tons of issues Halo TV Show - oh my god Give Halo to ID Software or something man they’ll cook. Besides, CE doesn’t need a Remake, especially not one that’s only half the game. This shit is timeless.

I keep seeing people claiming the Mad Ellie DLC is too short… Most Borderlands DLCs are completed within a few hours. The real value is in the additional things to do. Raid bosses, gear farming, side quests. Sadly Mad Ellie added no Raid Boss.

I haven’t seen nearly as much about this game, and from what I have seen I have zero desire to play it myself. Just pointing out how details being highlighted doesn’t necessarily make the story any worse.

Sanrio is a reputable brand that is worthy of respect. Marathon is difficult. Yes, you can technically fail in any game, but most games lean on insane levels of aim assist or constantly nudge you towards victory. SBMM is rampant in FPS. Meanwhile Marathon just lets you fall flat on your face. I've been playing FPS for decades and I still eat shit to UESC bots sometimes. The community is nice on Twt but in-game they'll just fucking kill you. It's wonderfully cruel. It's similar to Rust in that regard, but without having to deal with upkeep.
