Tonight I'm having salad for dinner. When I was a kid in the seventies, we also had salad in summertime, with new potatoes 🥔 and either ham or corned beef. Outside of the summer months, Tuesday nights was meat pie, peas and boiled potatoes. It's strange what we remember 🙂
