@jeremybalan I was there working for 42 years. Was there since I was a little kid. I even fished in the lakes inside the racetrack with Bobby the usher and some other agents. Big Bass and Catfish.

Jockey Bill Shoemaker elected to ride The Wonder for trainer Charlie Whittingham instead of John Henry in the 1983 American H. So, Chris McCarron rode John Henry, won & kept the mount for the rest of John's career. The Wonder finished 7th that day.
