@billymooreAPBD I totally agree, black wearing north face, they won’t even attempt, vulnerable person jump all over them

This elderly man was targeted today (easy victim) by some cowardly young bum squeak who works for Liverpool City Council, he was dishing out fines on County Road in Liverpool!!
This area is socially and economically deprived, people are skint and haven’t got a pot to piss in!!
The man put a cigarette butt down a grid and was fined £150!!
The council litter police, who was a proper jobs worth by the way, would not dare approach someone who would tell him to just fuck off because he hasn’t got the balls!!

@londonsnumber1 @GriftReport If was a male would you allow them onto the bus
English

@GriftReport I’m an ex bus driver , if anyone told me they had no money or any excuse I would not leave them behind especially a female or a child .. I’m driving A to B anyway . It’s not going to hurt anyone letting them on the bus.
English

User: z1000angrychimp on TiKTok uploaded this video and left the comment below, was he right to confront the driver like this?
Fathers comment :
Did I overreact? My daughter was left with no way of getting home in centre of Leeds late at night… his reaction she can get next bus which goes to a different town .. which is over 3 miles from where we live ?!
English

@GriftReport Its a catch 22, the Arriva app is a load of crap it crashes all the time the amount of issues with the app i don’t buy passes on it as i know how unreliable it is, but how many times bus driver heard the same excuse, also whats the company policy as well as human decency as well

@chantelle_lunt Why does the far left want to force their views on the far right, and vice versa, both as bad as each other were supposed to live in a democracy and everyone is entitled to their own views, but the left want to force the view on to everyone and tell people must accept it
English

There were a lot of people at the UKIP religious rally in Liverpool yesterday claiming they were there to 'document the day', but it was clear that some were aligned with far-right narratives around migration, Islam and asylum seekers.
I spoke to one person, Cozzy, who had travelled from Manchester to 'document' the event.
When I mentioned that Jesus was a refugee, he didn’t seem to appreciate it and accused me of trying to “trap” him in the conversation.
No trap. Just facts, Cozzy.

@ianberry333787 So you don’t believe in democracy and people have a right to have a different of opinion to you, or do you want enforce conformity ie everyone must follow what the left want and cant have critical thinking
English

@lpoolcouncil @MerseyPolice genuinely asking. Why are you allowing UKIP to keep coming and attempting to parade through this city. Why are we paying council tax when you cant keep people safe ?

@Searchlight_mag They also could of wrongfully arrested him, police officers do that as well, so potentially we the local taxpayers are going to have to pay out compensation

Neo-nazi Ryan Ferguson, boasted online last night that he would be in Liverpool today.
He posed with his little Cheltenham posse: Justin DuPlessis and James Hodges (aka The Viking).
But he didn't actually make it.
Police pulled him and his chums over as they drove into Liverpool and arrested him for breach of bail conditions.

@AvonandsomerRob @DrHoenderkamp @DebiEvansMatron Ive seen train ticket apps crash and not load and people get a fine and told to fight it with the app company that sold the ticket, paper ticket no hassle at all, this is why should keep paper train tickets, same for boarding passes should have a paper option for app problems
English

@DrHoenderkamp @DebiEvansMatron In the same way airlines are moving exclusively to digital boarding passes, technology has replaced paper.
We can't expect to live in the 1970s forever.

@marksandspencer @KieranMaguire Sorry i disagree, buying a single banana used to cost between 14p-16p when done per weight, now have increased it to 18p per banana go back to selling by weight
English

@KieranMaguire Hi, we haven’t increased the price of our bananas. Customers have told us that they want quality, value, convenience and transparent pricing. By moving to a clear, fixed price for individual bananas - without increasing the price - customers know what they are paying for. - Abbi
English

@KieranMaguire I noticed that as well they cheeky started selling by how many units and not per weight

@SamRaincock Considering this is central London that is shocking, but the really shocking problem was is i was earning more than that in 2014 living in london and was a huge struggle then, so god knows what like 12 years later on that wage
English

£26.5K per year - the same wage as you get working on the checkout for Aldi.

@end3of6days9 The ultimate answer is if there is a dropped kerb, the homeowner can seek compensation from the registered keeper of the vehicle, if there is no dropped kerb then unfortunately nothing she can do if parked legally, but looking at the style of house era i would say is dropped kerb
English

Imagine if every single day, some entitled woman parks smack in front of your driveway. You can't get your car out. You miss work, take public transport, seethe quietly... until you snap. 🚗💥
Homeowner finally confronts her:
"You can't park there—it's blocking my driveway."
Karen: "Well, I'm not paying for parking at work when there's free space here. It's public. I've been doing this every day. Sorry, I'm late."
Homeowner: "I've got you on CCTV for weeks. You know it's wrong."
Karen doubles down: "No signs, no problem. I contacted the council—it's fine."
Narrator drops the mic: She reported the repeated offenses.
Result? Karen just got hit with a $2,300 fine.
Moral: Don't block driveways thinking you're untouchable. The street isn't your free parking lot.

@rebecca_ryder21 @sharrond62 Costs trust me we get value for money
3. NHS staff following documents written by again public sector staff who have no private experience of procurement so the contracts get written that favours private companies who can make massive profits.
English

@rebecca_ryder21 @sharrond62 Few reasons
1. Procurement processes is so long it costs companies to bid for contracts so costs are added onto items to reimburse the costs for getting the tender.
2. Some staff have no private procurement experience as private sector to private sector contracts
