So I am building FreeBSD on 5 machines: 2 native, 3 in VMs, 4 are x64, 1 is arm64, 2 are 13-STABLE, 3 are 14-STABLE.
Oh, and I am eating some Club crackers and having a Diet Pepsi.

@danallen46 I can't argue convincingly agains that position, even though I'm typing this reply on my iPad 9 with a Logitec keyboard case :-) Mostly I use the iPad as a reading device, and sometimes for keeping a running commentary of the day's events.

I am trying out Ubuntu’s latest release, Noble Numbat. I installed the Arm64 server version in a VM using UTM, and now I am adding the Ubuntu-Desktop via apt. (All on a MacBook Pro running 14.4.1 Sonoma.) It has been a few years since I’ve used Ubuntu Linux.

Wow - another one I did not know after using vi for years - * and # to jump through a file searching for a word or name. Very cool.

You’re in vim and your cursor is over a variable name (or any word). You press either * or # and vim slurps that word into the search terms and searches either forward with * or backward with #
