I am relieved that Donald #Trump survived another #assassination attempt! Who was he with? A mentalist! #OzPearlman, #Jewish and from #Israel! Big question: Why are so many famous mentalists and magicians Jewish/Israelil? #LiorSuchard #DavidBlaine #AsiWind #MaxHaven #DavidCopperfield #DavidBerglas - and although I am not a mentalist, #UriGeller! Harry #Houdini, the most famous magician of them all, lived on the same street as my grandparents in Hungary! And yes, even #Moses and #Jesus, were illusionists, many people say! My belief is it is the effect of having to think outside the box to survive centuries of persecution, as far back as when the Israelites escaped Egypt (the Bible records how Moses’ acts even defeated the abilities of Pharoah’s top magicians!). I was taught hypnotism by an Auschwitz survivor who used it to entertain the Nazis to save his life! Jewish clairvoyant Erik Jan Hanussen was even said to have taught Hitler hypnosis and mentalism! Look how Israel has had to come up with the most incredible inventions to survive our modern-day enemies! Think of just the pager attacks and Iron Dome alone! I believe ingenuity and outsmarting others (magic, illusionism etc) has now become baked into our DNA and chromosomes, and that sustains longevity of thousands of years. So incredible Jewish performers like Oz Pearlman are born with the energy in their brains, the thought-power to create some perceived miracle and turn it into reality. Of course there are many many brilliant mentalists who are not Jewish, but I believe a survival instinct from persecution has resulted in a disproportionate amount among our tiny Jewish number. Do you agree?
