At any rate all I'd do is say the same things I do now but with excerpts from books and papers, which is what the substack is for.

I probably should talk more about science on here but knowing next to nothing I'd provide little of value.

@scriabingroyper @nosilverv Lynn is not a geneticist. You mean Watson as in Watson and Crick? He's a structural biologist. I don't think he did any serious work on heritability... if he did it's decades of of date by now.

You may not like it, but you need to be prepared for a near future America where the Dow Jones is 100,000, the top 10% of households account for 90% of consumer spending, and the median home valuation is $1,000,000.

If you are still lurking out of excessive perfectionism or timidity I guarantee whatever you would like to post will be a lot more interesting than the daily For You trough.

@scriabingroyper @nosilverv We don't know what traits will "serve him well" ie fit because we don't know the shape of future environments. We all have many genes that are not active because environmental queues were absent or appeared too early or too late. Gene expression is strongly modulslated by env

Gotta find a cheap prostitute fast. Apparently the ones in Nevada are $1000 for 30 minutes and it's too far anyway. There's a Thai massage parlor near me but I don't want my first time to be with an Asian.

@LearnerKip @nosilverv Which geneticists are you referring to? Most studies estimate the heritability of I.Q. at .8, for example, which is one of the limiting factors for humanity currently. Also, I'd assume you're referring to epigenetics?

@scriabingroyper @nosilverv Well that does not square with what a geneticist will tell you. It also ignores the that crucial factor for gene expression is environmental. So while I appreciate that you're in good faith here. You haven't done your homework. This is a kind of cargo cult perspective on genes.

@LearnerKip @nosilverv Because there are a finite amount of traits, and as history progresses, we are going to become increasingly aware of which ones the Übermensch cannot have, which, in combination of traits we know will serve him well, will allow for a gradual selection for the best traits.

@VaubanBooks @uslic001 True. Even today's elites are proletarian in their actual tasks, and certainly in their beliefs, and soon, automation will complete the cycle by making the proletariat an example of Veblen's leisure class as they will be subsidized by U.B.I. to perform menial tasks.

@LearnerKip @nosilverv Most traits are at least .5 heritable according to twin studies, and G.W.A.S. estimates are catching up to that.

@LearnerKip @nosilverv I don't doubt that humanity has yet to reach even a hundredth of its natural potential, I simply doubt that most people are capable of meeting the demands of the world of the future.

@scriabingroyper @nosilverv I don't think it's correct. It's myopic and has the common failure mode of most eugenicist ideas. A combination of low historical knowledge and a discounting of just how much variation and adaptability will be called for in the future.

@shotpianist @bronzeagepony Maybe it's because in Brazil, they're less empowered, but in America even equality is seen as misogynistic. This is what every female in America thinks themselves worthy of, with no recompense to the moid chucklefuck paypigs, of course.
