"Coding is dead" is the most misleading lie on your feed right now.
AI hasn't killed coding. it’s elevated it.
Writing a prompt is easy
but ...
Turning AI output into a scalable, production-ready product is a skill that belongs to people who actually understand software.
The future doesn't belong to prompt-only users. It belongs to builders who combine deep code knowledge with AI speed.
Stop listening to the noise. Learn to code. Learn to use AI. Do both. 🛠️

@scribencode1 Well said, my brother.
It’s not bad UX by accident, it’s strategy.
Spotify and Netflix would rather lose a bit of convenience than lose control (and 30%).
Less seamless, more we own the relationship.

I can tell you for a fact that there are multi-billion-dollar reasons why companies like Spotify do it. 🧵
1. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 "𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐞/𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐱"🍏📱:
Apple and Google take a 30% cut of every transaction made via In-App Purchases (IAP).
If Spotify charges you $10, Apple takes $3. Spotify only keeps $7.
By sending you to their website, they use their own payment gateway. They still pay a processing fee (usually 3%), but that’s only 30 cents, not $3. They keep 97% of the money instead of 70%.
2. 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 🤝 :
If you pay through the App Store, for example, Apple owns your transaction data.
Spotify has now become a stranger to your billing, which means that if you have a payment issue, Spotify’s support can’t even help you. You have to talk to Apple.
Companies hate having a middleman.......
They want to deal with you directly, like buying tomatoes from the farmer instead of the open market.
You get?
3. 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚-𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧📊 :
Clive Humby (whom I call 𝑷𝒂 𝑨𝒅𝒊𝒉𝒖𝒏😁) said,
"Data is the new oil."
On an iPhone, you can cancel a subscription with one tap and meuve (move).
O ti lo niyen ( you're gone) but Spotify needs your data...
They want to know why. By forcing you to their site, they can ask questions like: "Is it too expensive?"
They can even offer a "Basic" plan or a free month to make you stay (Oya take, no vex nah).
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐦 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐞:
These apps are tired of being "tenants".
They want total control over their business, their data, and their margins. 💸

@scribencode1 @_HerDAO @Onallee @Hari_priyoo Big move 🔥
Rust isn’t light work, but that’s where the real builders are made.
Let’s see what you cook.

I just got into Rust School 🦀 Cohort 01! Thanks to @_HerDAO, @Onallee and @Hari_priyoo for making this possible. Let’s build!

@dotprodev I agree with you . Over engineering is a fast track to burnout. Staying lean with solid monitoring is the only way to build in public and stay sane.

@a16z Having spent years drafting lesson plans manually, seeing AI agents handle curriculum for 4 kids under 5 is mind blowing.
This is the exact kind of real world implementation that makes the agentic future feel tangible

@nvidia It’s one thing to have a model write code, but seeing the hardware software integration handle real world physics in real time is where the real engineering magic happens.
Anyone else here curious about the tech stack running the real-time sensor fusion on these bots?

My sis: What do you even do again?
Me: Web development
My sis: Can you redesign a website?
Me: Yes
My sis: I'm going to send your number to someone, she needs a website redesign

What's the lore behind your first gig?
English

It's quite demanding 😯 to switch from procedural coding to software architecture.
It involves moving from being someone who was previously concerned about how a script runs from top to bottom to being concerned about a refactored code structure.
It's a massive mental shift ...
you realize it’s not just about writing code anymore, but about structuring it properly.
