Just finished a full day in the High Court, out to check the phone- how has John Beaton not been suspended from refereeing & an investigation commenced yet?

@Erudite4Unity Fuck me, all the rats are coming out of the woodwork. Beaton never gave Celtic anything in real time “eagerly” or “unhesitatingly” Maeda wiped out - no penalty or red Trusty - handball, elbow in the face and push in the back! VAR Grow the fuck up - Huns not even playing

I was asked an interesting question today. Has Beaton been bribed, has he been threatened or is it just plain cowardice that makes him give these decisions so consistently, so eagerly and so unhesitatingly?

What a treat to hear a world renowned physicist lecturing us all last night on the way a ball bounces .

@henke_hoops @ClydeSSB Problem is Beaton did not think it was a pen until he was sent to monitor. For the 3rd time this season he has not given us a penalty which he has had to go to a monitor to tell him he's made a mistake and needs to correct it.

Gordon Duncan not being very impartial tonight @ClydeSSB John Beaton thought it was a penalty, Andrew Dallas thought it was. Many think it was, many think it wasn’t. Should the 2 refs have thought, “I think this is a penalty but I better alter that opinion in case others dont”

@MacGerrard_ Lenny is a good guy. I remember Craig Levein singing his praises for his attentiveness and support after his (Levein's) heart attack. Lennon has always been a bit of a pantomime villain but he knows his stuff and calls it as he sees it

Neil Lennon on Sky Sports “ Yes I’ve seen it! I’ve listened to all the opinions today, there’s not a discussion to be had! Motherwell have been cheated out of a point. If that happened to any club in the league they’d feel aggrieved. John has been foolish, I can’t see how he made a decision and I don’t see how the referee association hasn’t come out and apologised”

🚨SFA STANDS BY JOHN BEATON This season has been an utter embarrassment and last night was the tipping point. I’ve never seen a decision, in Scottish football, to be so widely condemned and this should be a watershed moment for our national game All fans should unite against Temu VAR and the poor refereeing standards. And before anyone says it….YES….I’m very aware that Hearts have benefitted from some poor decisions this season. However, we need to look at the bigger picture here and demand change. A good start would be… …SACK WILLIE COLLUM.

Reported by @Telegraph that the Scottish FA regard the decision to award Celtic's penalty at Fir Park as correct. Head of Referees Willie Collum will address the situation in the VAR Review Show next week.

@EwenDCameron Ok fuckwit Seeing as you didn’t answer before - which of the 3 infringements in the 1 incident were not fouls? Handball? Elbow to face? Push to back? And then there was keeper on Maeda - Red and penalty! No? And just how hard done to were Hearts? Not even fucking playing

@attendant1867 @TadhgHickey So we should just let dishonesty rule because we do know that applies in Scotland? VAR has correctly overturned many duff calls None of these “contentious” decisions were given in Celtic’s favour in real time

@scripture36 @TadhgHickey I hate VAR being the great invention they claim .Watched football happily and unhappily for 46 years it was better before VAR .Even with all the mistakes , that’s what I’m saying .Not talking about individual incidents or games .Refs should ref for good and bad

If Hearts go and do it on Saturday, they’ll have not only won the league against all odds, they’ll have done it while being governed by the most corrupted group of officials in any football league in Europe. It will be the most commendable title win we’ve ever seen in Scotland.

@alegil2101 That’s because there were multiple infringements - all of which were penalties. Handball Elbow in the face Push in the back One incident Let’s ignore the red card and penalty for the assault on Maeda by the goalie tho. Sshhh

@attendant1867 @TadhgHickey So are either of them penalties? Quite simple aye or naw? If so what the fuck is the problem? Neither were given in real time

@TonyMcKelvie Aye - let’s just ignore an elbow in the face and a push in the back. Fuck right off Oh and Maeda being wiped out earlier - where’s the fuss about that. What’s a red card for a goalie after all?

It's absurd that a handball like that results in a penalty. There is no correlation between the significance of the foul and the consequences of the award. It’s a crap rule. But the ball hit his hand and his hand was raised above his shoulder and the rule directs a penalty kick.
