The discussion also emphasised collaborative research efforts supported by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, aimed at enhancing tribal welfare through innovative research and effective policy implementation.

ଆଦିବାସୀ ମେଳା ୨୦୨୬ର ମଞ୍ଚରେ ୩ଟି ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠ ଆଦିବାସୀ କୁଡିଆ କୁ ମାନ୍ୟବର ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଅନୁସୂଚିତ ଜନଜାତି ଓ ଅନୁସୂଚିତ ଜାତି, ଉନ୍ନୟନ, ସଂଖ୍ୟାଲଘୁ ସମ୍ପ୍ରଦାୟ ଓ ପଛୁଆ ବର୍ଗ କଲ୍ୟାଣଙ୍କ ଦ୍ଵାରା ସମ୍ମାନିତ କରାଯାଇଅଛି I ଏହି ସମ୍ମାନ ଆଦିବାସୀ ସଂସ୍କୃତି, କଳା ଓ ପରମ୍ପରା ପ୍ରତି ଗଭୀର ସମ୍ମାନର ପ୍ରତୀକ।

ଆଦିବାସୀ ମେଳାର ଶେଷ ଦିବସ ଅବସରରେ, ମାନ୍ୟବର ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ, ଅନୁସୂଚିତ ଜନଜାତି ଓ ଅନୁସୂଚିତ ଜାତି, ଉନ୍ନୟନ, ସଂଖ୍ୟାଲଘୁ ସମ୍ପ୍ରଦାୟ ଓ ପଛୁଆ ବର୍ଗ କଲ୍ୟାଣ ଙ୍କ କରକମଳରେ ଗବେଷଣା ପତ୍ରିକା ‘ବନଜା’ର ଶୁଭ ଉନ୍ମୋଚନ ସମ୍ପନ୍ନ ହୋଇଯାଇଅଛି ।

ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ସମୃଦ୍ଧ ଆଦିବାସୀ ଐତିହ୍ୟ,ସଂସ୍କୃତି ଓ ପରମ୍ପରାର ଅନୁଭୂତି ନିଅନ୍ତୁ ଆଦିବାସୀ ମେଳା ୨୦୨୬ରେ । ଏ ବର୍ଷର ଆକର୍ଷଣ- 🏡 ୧୦ଟି ପାରମ୍ପରିକ ଆଦିବାସୀ ଘର 🛍️ ୯୪ଟି ଷ୍ଟଲ ସହ ଆଦିବାସୀ ଉତ୍ପାଦର ଅପୂର୍ବ ସମାହାର 💃 ୫୭ଟି ଆଦିବାସୀ ନୃତ୍ୟ ଦଳ ଆସନ୍ତୁ,ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଆଦିବାସୀ ସମୁଦାୟଙ୍କ କଳା ଓ ସଂସ୍କୃତିରେ ନିଜକୁ ବିଲୀନ କରନ୍ତୁ ।

Shri Upendra Singh, IAS(Retd.) along with his team, visited the OSTM. They expressed deep appreciation for the museum’s rich and diverse presentation of tribal traditions, lifestyles, and artefacts, which vividly reflect the cultural heritage of Odisha’s tribal communities.

In the Annual Garden Competition, the Institute secured four awards across different categories, including First, Second, and Third Prizes for gardens maintained at the OSTM, Administrative Building, Research & Training Building Front, & Teaching & Training Institutions category.

At the 37th Annual Flower Show–2026, held from 9th to 11th Jan 2026 at the Regional Plant Resource Centre (RPRC), BBSR, SCSTRTI & the Odisha State Tribal Museum Campus received wide appreciation for their well-maintained and aesthetically designed gardens. 🌼

On the second day of the State Level Tribal Healers’ Meet 2025, the participating healers visited Raj Bhavan and interacted with the Hon’ble Governor of Odisha. Hon’ble Governor appreciated their nature-based healing traditions and the profound environmental knowledge that underpins their medicinal practices. During the interaction, the healers shared insights into their indigenous methods, community-based treatments, and the challenges they face in collecting medicinal resources amid climate change and declining plant availability. The Hon’ble Governor emphasised the need to preserve traditional knowledge through systematic documentation, enhanced coordination with the Forest Department, and the identification and conservation of key medicinal plant habitats. He conveyed his best wishes for the continued growth of their healing traditions and ongoing efforts in resource conservation. Smt.
