@hochalicious Also, these count toward's a company's electric vehicle quota, so they might be doing very nice lease deals. Not saying a better solution wasn't available or preferred, but I can see how this might make sense.

GUARANTEE someone working for Todd Gloria got a kickback for purchasing these cars. There should be an investigation because this kind of careless spending with a $120M deficit while gauging locals for parking is honestly fucking awful. Then again it's Todd Gloria folks.

@hochalicious If these do 50 miles in a day, that's 1100 miles per month. An ICE car getting 25mpg uses 44 gallons of gas at $6 now. That's about a $265 savings if you're using solar to charge the cars. The lease on my electric is $290 per month. It's possible this is a cost effective solution

Trump actually called it a “stupid question” when a reporter asked about the possibility that Russia might be helping Iran target American forces. Think about that for a second. A question about whether a hostile power could be helping an enemy target and potentially kill Americans was dismissed as “stupid.” What exactly is going on here? At this point people are left wondering whether Russia has something on him. Because the reaction makes no sense. Absolutely none. When a president refuses to even seriously address the possibility that an adversary could help attack U.S. troops, it raises far more questions than it answers. Nothing about that response sounds normal leadership. What do you think explains a reaction like that from a U.S. president?
