@RacingStrats I relate with you completely, hence I don't watch jumps anymore. I cannot bear to see them fall it makes me feel sick to the core. I punt, listen but don't watch :) Keeps me sane this way. Seen a few terrible incidents I just cannot get over. Better this way...

Love this sport too much to walk away completely but what happened on Friday really did make me consider it. Just lost all motivation to even watch a race after that. Planned to stay away for a bit longer so wont promise the daily selections like normal for a while still. May just have a bet to put up here or there.

@RacingStrats Love seeing your daily picks! Envoi Allen would have wanted you back too 🥰 make the old boy proud in heaven! 🌈🐎🌈

I really don’t know where to start as this is by far the saddest moment i’ve experienced in racing. That being said, a little appreciation post from me.
Envoi Allen was my racing hero. My favourite horse of all time. The horse which was the reason I fell in love with this sport.
Gone… after after what was his final ever race whilst taking his first steps into retirement. What was supposed to be a fairytale or storyline ending became the polar opposite. So devastatingly sad.
He was the catalyst behind all the passion I have for racing and my time following this sport will no longer be the same with him not around. Genuinely.
31 Races 🐎
17 Wins🥇
10 Grade 1s🏅
3 Cheltenham Victories🏆
£1,000,000+ in Prize Money💰
King of Down Royal & horse of a lifetime
There really is only one Envoi Allen 🔴⚪️
I’ll always remember your 11 race winning streak between 2018-21 that was incredibly special to follow and be a part of. Proving all the doubters wrong, coming back to beat Shishkin in the Ryanair & winning a record 3rd Irish Champion Chase worthy of a statue just a few months ago.
A peak rating of 165 & 10 Grade one wins - you achieved what only <0.1% of NH horses go onto achieve and had a career most could never even imagine having.
Rest in Paradise old boy, thanks for all the memories you gave to us fans and thanks for making me fall in love with this amazing sport, which at times can be so cruel to its strongest warriors.🕊️💔
You owed nobody a thing and deserved to stroll off into the sunset for a long, happy retirement for the rest of your days. I wish I was able to see you race in person which is a regret of mine.
Legend and all time great. Gone but never forgotten, Envoi Allen 🐎👑
No selections today guys, I’ll be back soon.

Two more sleeps guys and we’ve got the greatest week of racing known to man. I always find that strange really as I prefer the flats, but Cheltenham just has that special feel about it — win or lose, when it’s on it’s different.
I’ll most likely stick to Chelts only all week and just enjoy it for what it is. Might find the odd double elsewhere or maybe include a Cheltenham pick with a selection running at another track.
I’m hoping this year isn’t like last year 🤣 I had my pants down most days to be honest.
Anyway, place bets will be key.
I may even post 3 picks in the bigger races which could help those who like their place accas. No need to get greedy and go win-only all the time at festivals (ew) — I certainly don’t.

Note to self. When tipping an 18/1 winner make sure you post it on @olbg and back it yourself! I’ve had a mare there - must have got distracted 🤦🏻♂️

WINNNNNNERRRRRRRRR!!! 18/1 DARK KESTREL does it with a nice burst in the 7:30 at #Newcastle and March gets off to a cracker! I’d totally given up on this stable with their horses (like Tathmeen) regularly being cliff horses and I nearly didn’t post it - luckily I did!! 😅

@seadocean Yes sir i will post 1 of the 4 selections after a write up! 💥

Forgot to post #SystemPlays HAVIN A FLYER (3.45 #Newcastle) was 14/1 last night but now drifted to 33s - this a win bet… so that’ll probably be a loser… maybe place claims? Up to you 🤷🏻♂️

NEW: 'Teacher of the Year' at an Alabama elementary school arrested after a horrific video of her allegedly beating her 12-year-old son with a belt was leaked by the boy's older brother.
2nd-grade teacher Nicole Staples has been charged & fired from her job.
Staples's older son, Jackson, says he was the one who leaked the footage to Cottage Hill Christian Academy, where she worked.
She was named Teacher of the Year just last May.
"I didn’t feel like, you know, she should be working at the school or even doing that to my little brothers," said 24-year-old Jackson Staples.
Jackson said his mom had "done it to me my whole life."
Staples was charged with willful abuse of a child under 18.
What a good brother Jackson is.
