This is batshit. Sysco is evil. Why do we allow monopolies, does anti trust still even exist?? A ton of independent restauranteurs, including us, use RD to avoid crappy case minimums from the big guys.

This is dumb. It takes away from legitimate criticism of the city who has at times not enforced crimes in certain areas or for certain offenses. My understanding is chief Redd is doing a good job changing a lot of that.

@SeanDNeves @wanderingdave I think it’s pretty great, but I am extremely biased :) Does feel like a perfect fit for the neighborhood. We’re loving it over there.

@seafinch @wanderingdave We lazied out after a long day. I've heard it's great. I LOVE that in the Guadalupe hood in 2026, you can have an amazing meal at Kyote then walk a block listen to weird vinyl in a beautiful space with great drinks!

I'm going to Eva's (after the fire) then the symphony to see one of the greatest cellists on the planet. Then cocktails at a new hifi bar after. Can't do that in Draper yet. We have our issues and I talk about them all the time but this crap is hyperbole. "The Mormons" what eve that means nowadays aren't taking back SLC. They largely left 30 years ago. BUT a ton of faithful live downtown and go to bars etc and are part of the community.
