@leinsterrugby This is the same guy that had three Irish players in the sin bin at the same time. How is he allowed near reffing Irish teams with his blatant bias. I thought Nigel Owens was bad but this guy takes the biscui. Although he did give Leinster the match winning penalty.

After a first half when everything was spinning against them, that's a great win for Leinster Dan Sheehan in the tries again, and what a difference big Joe McCarthy makes 👊

@ColmGrimes1 @shambock747 @CaptSpringbok We will have to agree to disagree. Putting human beings under such enormous physical stress for sport in my view is irresponsible. SA scrum was completely dominating the Irish scrum yet with one last play to play in the first half they decide to sub two forwards. Why, medical???

@seanfz @shambock747 @CaptSpringbok Well it is still physical excercise by professional athletes! its supervised/monitored by professional coaches, fitness experts & medical professionals pro sport i would imagine overwhelmingly gives humans better cardiac health.

Captain Springbok
Captain Springbok@CaptSpringbok·
The Springboks shattered a proverbial glass ceiling on Saturday evening. Something happened that felt like a rugby earthquake - a seismic shift in how this team is viewed. Our scrum, and Rassie’s ruthless clarity in player management, told the story. We had no business pushing for repeated scrums and earning 13 scrum penalties - yet we did, turning down points simply to prove how utterly dominant this team is. The Boks are operating in a different stratosphere to every other side right now. And for the first time, every rugby journalist and pundit agrees: the Springboks are, beyond doubt, the best team in the world.

@ColmGrimes1 @shambock747 @CaptSpringbok I don't have enough information to the debate the subject. I was making a general point about overloading the human heart and lungs, asking them to engage in a full energy contest for 80+ minutes, running who knows how many kms during the match. Cannot be good long term.

@seanfz @shambock747 @CaptSpringbok oh i don't know about that, a pro level there can be maybe 20-30 kg difference per pack but that happens in open play all the time backs vs fwds, smaller half backs vs absolute monsters technique and fatigue speed evens it out. I havn't heard of many heart attacks on pitch yet

@ciarannugent Here's an idea that will have the support of all the west brits in the country, let's name all the parks and multiple streets after that other beacon of humanity, Winston Churchill.

@mulvanypeopleb1 This my friend is democracy. A joke of a process I refuse to participate in despite my family telling me that I can then have no say or right to comment. Irish men and women fought and died for my right to choose either to vote or not to vote.

A year has passed since we elected this Government. We have record #homelessness. An ever deepening #housing crisis. A #scoliosis scandal. Child #poverty on the increase. Pensioners unable to heat their homes. #Carers unable to put food on the table. The worst Gov ever!

@thepaulwilliams Walking heart attacks every member of the scrum. You need to read the available information about scrum injuries. Deliberately bulk up your scrum to overwhelm your opponents and causing injuries particularly to the hooker is dangerous and not very sporting.

@luke_oriordan @nealerichmond If the information/allegations about the crimes committed by this man are true then historically naming the park after him is akin to naming anything in Ireland after Winston Churchill.

@ColmGrimes1 @CaptSpringbok SA scored two good tries from play. Earned a penalty try. Kicked a penalty. The last try should have been disallowed for an off the back tackle on Prendegast. Ireland scored two tries, our apprentice no 10 missed a penalty. All the while the SA's are raving about a demolition Not

@seanfz @CaptSpringbok That’s not really relevant for Boks to be honest. As an Irish fan it is worthy of praise. At least we can still fight like dogs even if it’s smaller fewer dogs with no discipline !

@ColmGrimes1 @shambock747 @CaptSpringbok Forwards bulking themselves up and their club feeding them a special diet and gym work to add to this means many of these guys are walking heart attacks waiting to happen. The current situation is akin to putting a heavyweight boxer in the ring with a FEATHERWEIGHT. Akin to UFC.

@shambock747 @seanfz @CaptSpringbok It was a demolition . But I am not too worried yet. perfect lab conditions for bok scrum really. 1) they were on form, well coached, massive kg as always & top tekkers. 2)IRL missed big Joe, 3)Ryan does that our other heaviest lock 4) kick chase rules now = knock ons = scrums

@Oldsuliansrfc Tommy O'Brien's injuries IRFU Graduated Return to Play (GRTP) protocol. The GRTP takes a minimum of 21 days for adults. Out of action for 21 days. Had to leave the pitch, of course that was the oppositions intention all along.
