My dear father, Bob Joudry, passed away at the end of August. It was a sudden and devastating loss for our family. Dad was a military man, joining the Canadian Armed Forces at age 17 and serving for 42 years, 70% of his life.

Todd Veinotte and I have been going back and forth on News 95.7 for most of my time as an MLA. Today was his last day on the station as he retires after a lengthy career in journalism, and I was glad to have been able to stop by and give him my thanks and best wishes. It shouldn't come as a surprise that a former NSNDP candidate (under Burrill, no less) is opposed to any sort of oil and gas development. It's a purely ideological opposition to any sort of development, along with the jobs and energy security that goes along with it.
