From my perspective, following that philosophy will eventually lead to a law of the jungle scenario. If that transpires, I venture to say that most of those who espouse to that philosophy will run into the arms of all the “pugnacious racist goblins” for protection. That’s why the 2 of the 4 pictured on the left who were in attendance at the 1787 Constitutional Convention blessed us with the Article V Convention of States. They knew what would eventually happen. We need the Article V Convention of States being advocated for by @COSProject. It can propose Constitutional Amendments that will rein in the Federal Government via limits not only on terms (both for elected and unelected officials) but also spending as well as overall power. Again, The Greatest Generation IS the greatest generation. No other can hold a candle to it. This can’t be denied. However, I would point out that the generations that proceeded Gen X grew up with an abundance of more technology and concepts like “safe spaces” with which Gen X was not afforded.
