All these years and not one of you assholes saw fit to tell me how good Zustand is? It’s exactly the simple and effective state management solution I’ve been wanting for _years_

@Grady_Booch Given how much grifting was already happening, I'm really curious why this is so much different? The energy? The waste?

@livefree_or_die @DJSnM Nah, you could equally change some of the materials. Use slightly different metal for some pieces, while keeping dimensions the same. Take an enamel pot and a steel one, of the same thickness/dimensions - they'll make completely different sounds when struck.

Finally we get a report on flight 7 and this confirms most of my speculation: Vibration in plumbing lead to leaks, leaks led to fires which killed the engines. RUD was coincident with AFTS parameters. And the 60 second test was to test vibration response of upgrades V2 starship.
SpaceX@SpaceX

The seventh flight test of Starship ended before reaching its ambitious goals. Lessons learned are being applied to future vehicles to make them more reliable. @VirtuosoCEO @allenholub @SecDuffy @CesiumJS I think you'll find the value has been studied over the years they are to optimize what information is presented and how. Research the DC example! There are so many factors at play, including collision warnings being turned off to avoid false positives.

You don't see how that's valuable? It makes me feel you're more concerned about personal preference than the safety of passengers. Imagine the blackhawk collision, clear indication and warnings, and extra visibility, long before impact, giving the pilot time to react even if ATC wasn't aware or fast enough. It's life or death. I'm all for innovation. I can't imagine something that could prevent accidents in bad visibility so useful would be considered a waste. But to each their own. I'm trying to create solutions, not fight with people on social media.

America deserves safe, state-of-the-art air travel, and President Trump has ordered that I deliver a new, world-class air traffic control system that will be the envy of the world.     To do that, I need advice from the brightest minds in America. I’m asking for help from any high-tech American developer or company that is willing to give back to our country. Tomorrow, members of @elonmusk’s SpaceX team will be visiting the Air Traffic Control System Command Center in VA to get a firsthand look at the current system, learn what air traffic controllers like and dislike about their current tools, and envision how we can make a new, better, modern and safer system. Because I know the media (and Hillary Clinton) will claim Elon’s team is getting special access, let me make clear that the @FAANews regularly gives tours of the command center to both media and companies.   Later in the week, I will travel to the FAA Academy in Oklahoma to meet with air traffic controller instructors and students to learn more about their education and how we can ensure that only the very best guide our aircrafts. My door at @USDOT is open to any and all patriotic developers or companies who want to help our country in this incredible, game-changing mission. I hope to hear from any company committed to ushering in America’s golden age of travel!

As long as we get good RNG luck no tipping points around ~2°, there’s a path. An outcome in the next few decades where the climate stabilizes even with the world still on fossil fuels. The endgame still comes to CO2. But a big win on CH4 gives the future what it needs - time.

My entire scientific career I have been cautioning against climate doomerism. It’s dangerously unhealthy for young people and leads into apathy. Humanity won on ozone depletion. Much of the world has been successful on acid rain and air pollution. Climate is winnable.

Did you know you can activate Windows 11 using a 3rd party activation server on the internet outlined in dozens of GitHub projects that Microsoft purposefully doesn't try to stop because at the end of the day, they want you running Windows 11 because you're the product! 😏 #TechTip

Large clients like banks can bully you into pleading insanity One recently asked us for evidence that we delete old logs. How? Screenshot of an empty folder titled “your old logs”? I can show you the “log_deleter” job, how does that instil any confidence? Peak security theater

I got a cheap microscope & tried it out on my melted hair last night. This should work for the conf. Is there anything I can use as a background that'll help show the details of the hair especially where it turns white? Also what's the proper mounting? I tried wet & it was a mess

@elonmusk Is DOGE going to improve the amount of policy that aligns with the will of the people? It turns out less than 30% of legislation aligns with what's expected. That sounds like the deep state and/or lobbyists to me.
