@Alex_nvrl @monad And I congratulate you! If only this could open the eyes of the team, who seem to revel in this self-satisfaction.

Activity on @monad , including discord, has dropped significantly. After the airdrop, many active participants disappeared; some went to farm other projects, while others were upset by the airdrop distribution. But what can we do now to boost activity?! A good option would be to reinstate discord roles and create a few new status roles within the project. This would also attract attention and revive activity. We all know this isn't a perfect solution to the low activity, but it could work to some extent. Those who remain will want to become more involved in the project, and newcomers will be encouraged to grow further. The question is: will the Monad team reinstate discord role activity? What do you think?

First of all, does anybody know the definition of the ‘NFT Lead’ role? What exactly are the responsibilities of this job? I have never seen such thing in any other project. If it means helping people building NFT projects, why do so many builders complain that they never get any replies to their questions? I want to speak out today about the Monad NFT scene. It feels like a valid critique to point out the NFT zone that’s being marketed as “under Karma’s leadership.” Here’s the thing: Karma failed to manage the NFT market . Why? Because they prioritized Chog above everything else and lost because of it. They’re not even posting about Chog anymore these days. Because they saw it failed. Karma’s biggest mistake was betting everything on a single NFT. There were countless projects in the community too many to count with stunning art, deep lore, and passionate builders. But the team followed a completely wrong strategy and sidelined them all. Right now, many members of the team including Keone and James changed their X profile pics to Monad NFTs but i don't think that has an effect on their performance. 90% of the NFT projects on Monad got zero support. Everyone knows it. Why? I’d say internal team disagreements or ego overload I’m not deep enough to know for sure. But saying the things nobody wants to say out loud makes me feel good. What should be done? The team needs to step in and support the community’s NFT market. You can’t run an ecosystem with 4–5 handpicked NFTs. Karma might be a good person, but her mistakes can’t be ignored. She needs to change some things too. I’ve always said: Monad is not an NFT chain it’s way beyond that. But treating it like an NFT chain and pushing that Chog nonsense to the forefront has caused the network to progress slowly and have zero volume right now. There’s so much more to say, but how do you expect to do marketing when hundreds of community NFT creators are being ignored? Karma failed at this and I think she knows it. Right now, in the Monad ecosystem, I’ll criticize as harshly as needed man or woman, doesn’t matter. After reading this, no one should pull the gender card. Currently, Skrumpeys is in OG NFT status and I want it to stay that way. Melo is genuinely killing it and he deserves every bit of that success. Bottom line: If these problems in the NFT side continue, Monad will fail in this sector. I hope they fix it. I’m not giving advice I’m criticizing. After all, some people think they’re smarter than the community since they are supported from the team. If you want to see someone’s true face, fight for your rights.

I just minted a beauty from a little-known and always mintable collection, @Nadroots on @monad , a small supply (300)with an ecological project behind it... Of course, the goal is to make money, but 170 Mon is a calculated risk. kingdomly.app/nadroots

@keoneHD @CryptoHayes Highly decentralized? Come on! Is that what tokenomics is for a decentralized token? Clearly, we don't share the same definition of decentralization!

Dear @CryptoHayes , I respect what you have built for the industry. Perps are an amazing innovation that I believe will continue to grow rapidly. You've had a big effect on our industry. I have seen you commenting on Monad a lot for the past few days. While I'm sure some comments might have been taken out of context, I thought you might be interested in what is different about Monad and why it's not just another L1. I am sure that you had to deal with tons of FUD in your day innovating with BitMEX, and that you simply addressed the comments head on and kept powering through. I will take the liberty of doing the same. Here are a few things to know about why Monad is different: - It's really fast. You can withdraw from Coinbase and your funds show up in 1-2 seconds. It just feels magical - It's built on a completely new tech stack so that that level of speed is possible under a highly decentralized network. There are currently 170 globally-distributed validators, with more to come. You can check out the live network topology here: gmonads.com - This is important because while everyone is saying that blockchains have to be centralized, data center chains (or single sequencers) in order to be performant, Monad proves that the opposite is possible. Businesses, asset issuers, and global developers want decentralized and credibly neutral - they don't want to be at the whims of one sequencer - The Monad codebase is fully open source and audited, built completely from scratch in C++ and rust to introduce many HFT-style optimizations. Check it out here: github.com/category-labs/… - Monad introduces MonadBFT, a frontier consensus mechanism that solves the tail forking problem for pipelined consensus. That alone is a huge advancement since BFT consensus inherently requires multiple rounds of communication; pipelining (staggering) the blocks is the only way to get fast block times; and previously pipelining was vulnerable to 1-block reorgs (tail forks) that enable MEV attacks. But not anymore! - Monad introduces Async Execution, which adds further efficiencies by allowing consensus and execution to proceed in separate swim lanes. Ethereum is trying to adopt this. - Monad has a bunch of other tech innovations, like a full JIT compiler for EVM bytecode to native code, a new database (MonadDb), a new block propagation mechanism (RaptorCast), and parallel execution. You can read about it all here: docs.monad.xyz/introduction/m… - The ecosystem is just starting, but there are a bunch of new apps, built by a group of young, hungry builders. You can check out some of them here: app.monad.xyz - The Monad Foundation and Category Labs teams are locked in and ready to keep growing the space. Research contributions in areas like async execution, gas pricing, and privacy will continue to push the space forward. This is day 6 of mainnet and our excellent teams will continue to do things differently. - Lastly, MON was the first token on Coinbase's token sales platform, with the purpose of giving as many people as possible access to the token ahead of public launch. The token sale took a "fill from the bottom" approach so that whales wouldn't be able to grab the entire sale, the way that many other launches go. If you'd like a few MON to try out the network, let me know and I'd be happy to send you some. Thanks again for your contributions to the space and I'll see you on chain.

You took pleasure in destroying a community by preaching the slogan "community first," while doing the exact opposite. You chose to retain and reward approximately 600 or 700 members, without any regard for the other 5,000 who had immense faith and high hopes for Monad. You preferred to favor members outside the community, already detached from the ecosystem after having benefited from your generosity. A few of us, like myself, are still part of the ecosystem with the little we received, and we believe in this technology, aware that the team lied to us. These roots you speak of, you yourselves severed. You didn't destroy this community; many became friends, but trust in the team was shattered by your lies.

Appreciate the feedback. I think it’s a natural reaction from a large group when we’re thrown into a real market. People try find consensus by sorting into smaller units that agree with them. Theres lots of opinions and beliefs being challenged by the market right now for the first time and some are learning and teaching lessons less elegantly than others, but agree that it feels quite pvp because of this. This isn’t really how we formed as a community though so would take this opportunity to urge community members to remember these roots (and how all this lore was initially created) which is constructive collaboration.

After joining several Monad chats with a bunch of accounts, my take on Monad - chain good, community mostly sucks. Can't believe this is the community fostered for the last two years. Every single thing is PvP. Every ragtag group wants to be the next cabal on the new chain. It's all so tiresome. I'm just gonna silently defi. None of the nfts are worth laying hands on. None of the memes are worth being part of, not that I'd know anything about memes. What made Solana strong was not just the tech, but the community that kept it alive even when FTX and other things beat it to near death. Maybe that community will build over time, but what exists currently doesn't look like it tbh.
