Yes, it's virtual reality in your idiotic brain, except the French government was in exile in London, recognized by Churchill and led by de Gaulle, not by the Vichy regime, a puppet state run by an 84-year-old man. France became a permanent member of the UN after the war and obtained an occupation zone in Germany. It was included among the "Big Five" at Yalta and San Francisco in 1945, in recognition of its military, political, and historical role. conclusion, you can shut your stinking mouth .

@sebastodemonaco @onlmaps France was pleasantly under German rule whole war, they lost 230,000 soldiers and that includes mainly their fighting in Africa, which makes no sense unless we know they were fighting to obtain / preserve their colonies and continuation of slavery of Africans, not to free anybody.

@SukberiaFR The french and british are two siblings that bicker and fight but have each others back when it counts. Dunkirk wasnt possible without the french army holding the line, and in return we gave them the tools to fight back against occupation.

euhhhh no, France before Britain ..look, the Anglo-Saxons had a primtive culture and build wooden shacks, and only because 1066 colonized by Norman-French-Breton made England a civilised nation..the success of English language is only because it contains 40% French Vocabulary , try to write a book of medecine, economy military or justice in Old english (beowulf) without a french word lol it's simply impossible 😂

LoLNothingMatters@DastDn

France gets a lot of (unfair but deeply entertaining) shit for its rapid surrender in WW2, when instead it should be mocked for mythologizing the practically non-existent "La Resistance" during the occupation.

Italian? lol, Impossible, Italy didn't exist at that time. Corsica belonged to Genoa, not Italy. btw Napoleon was born French in 1769, and Corsica was annexed to France in 1768. Napoleon attended the French War College, commanded the French army in Italy, which he conquered, under the French flag and with a French army and French marshals, and was crowned Emperor of the French in Paris, France, not Rome. This is precisely the proof that he was French.

The French army participated in the liberation of Rome in June 1944. Germany surrendered to France twice, on May 7 and 8, 1945. Japan surrendered to France on September 2, 1945. France won WW2, whatever the way anti-French revisionists like to spin it.

Apparently you were asleep during history class. Again, Italy didn't exist at that time, the Italian peninsula is just a geographical expression, not a united nation. As for the language, Italian is based on standard Tuscan, which was the lingua franca of the time, the language of the elites for writing administrative and religious documents, but the Corsicans spoke Corsican (u corsu).
