Bookworm. Optimist. Kaizer Chiefs. Liverpool. Retweets don't always mean agreement. Gave up explaining sarcasm to my neighbour.

I don’t want Steve Biko’s name brought up anywhere near anyone who stands for the opposite of what he was killed for tbh.

“Hee Fulashe, yintoni lento siyenziwe nguSilva? Ukorele ntoni uSilva kulagame Fulashe?” This is how a call I received from a fellow diehard Kaizer Chiefs supporter started this morning. I died of laughter 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

@TimesLIVE Good thing about SA, is that each time adverse findings are made by the AG and institutions like hers, we frown, shrug and move on with our lives. Consequence management is such an outdated notion here. We're not fussy like that.

Lots of humour in The King’s speech. All delivered with a twinkle in the eye. Content aside, simply as a public speaker, I’m not sure any British politician can match him

@Miz_Ruraltarain A Cadre was admitted in hospital last year suffering from appendicitis. When doctors operated him to remove the appendix, they were baffled to discover that his brain is located between his esophagus and his stomach. A medical professor explained that he is an SACP member.

⚖️ The Ultimatum: Choose Your Side Mbalula's directive is a calculated move to protect the ANC's electoral machinery. While the party still respects the history of the tripartite alliance, the reality of independent contestation makes dual membership a practical impossibility during a campaign. Members have just over a week to declare, whether they will campaign for the ANC or the SACP. "You cannot share a war room with a party you are actively competing against at the polls". Those who fail to declare their allegiance or choose to campaign against the ANC, while remaining members face disciplinary action. Which side do you think Dr Phophi Ramathuba will choose? 💀 😆 🤣

@Zwelinzima1 I totally agree with you SG. Also, Madlanga Commission, in my opinion, is successful because it exposes mostly the average guy and not politicians. Zondo failed because it implicated political top brass.

Some may say it is too little, too late. However, the arrest of Julius Mkhwanazi following others before him signals a growing pattern: the long era of impunity may finally be coming to an end. We acknowledge, with appreciation, the role played by General Mkhwanazi and the Madlanga Commission in promoting accountability and restoring public confidence in the rule of law.

@tumisole Great stuff. Even more pleasing is that Gen Mkhwanazi has age on his side. By the time he takes a well deserved retirement, he'll have shaken the crime tree thoroughly.
