Spent time in Georgia with Soldiers at @USAGFortGordon and @fortbenning, seeing firsthand the edge they’re building right now. I was also honored to join the OCS Hall of Fame and I was reminded that our leaders are what set the @USArmy apart.

Last week, I visited @USAGFortGordon, where @ARCYBER is delivering speed, precision, and dominance in the cyber domain. I then traveled to @fortbenning, where I met with the next generation of leaders at OCS and the warriors of the 75th Ranger Regiment. The @USArmy is transforming for the fight of tomorrow, and putting lethality into practice today.

From Fort Riley to Fort Hood to Pine Bluff Arsenal, this is what it looks like to build the future of the @USArmy.

In my first 13 months, I made it a priority to get out and see all 12 Army divisions and spend time with Soldiers. At every stop I saw Soldiers identifying problems, building solutions, and moving faster than we ever have. Our @USArmy is the best it’s ever been because of the Soldiers in our ranks.

Dropped by 42 Bistro to experience the campus-style dining @USArmy Soldiers are getting on Ft. Hood. More choices and better spaces like this are part of improving quality of life for our warfighters.

Visited the @FightingFirst and saw firsthand what makes the Big Red One special. Our Soldiers continue to show that the Army’s greatest innovators are the ones wearing the uniform.

Stopped by The Great Place to spend time with @iiiarmoredcorps and @1stCavalryDiv. The Soldiers at Fort Hood are doing incredible work pushing Army transformation forward and strengthening the force for what’s ahead.

The visit to Louisiana and Mississippi showed us how the @usacehq is driving our Building Infrastructure, Not Paperwork initiative. The @usarmy is focused on getting critical projects built and delivered for the American people. Thank you @senatorwicker, @govjefflandry, and @asacivilworks for the great visit and your support to our Army.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the deaths of four U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers supporting Operation Epic Fury on March 1st. “We honor our fallen Heroes, who served fearlessly and selflessly in defense of our nation.” said Lt. Gen. Robert Harter, Chief of Army Reserve.

Three extraordinary Soldiers now take their place in the Hall of Heroes. From World War II to Vietnam to Afghanistan, their courage under fire and devotion to their fellow Soldiers represent the very best of our @USArmy. Their legacy will inspire generations who answer the call to serve.

From historic heights to moments of global competition, it was an honor to stand alongside American Soldiers who continue to lead with grit and pride. 🇺🇸 In the mountains of Italy, we honored history with the @10mtndiv. In the days that followed, we watched Soldier athletes represent our nation through the Army’s World Class Athlete Program (WCAP) with discipline, focus, and unwavering determination. Different arenas. Same commitment to service. From remembrance to representation, the United States Army continues to embody resilience, character, and national pride. 🇺🇸🏔️

Met with the Honorable Adam Telle and Lieutenant General Graham in Louisiana. Together we are focusing on building infrastructure not paperwork. We were joined by Governor @JeffLandry to discuss how these reforms will impact communities across the state. Strengthening the @USArmy Corps of Engineers will provide stronger Army infrastructure and lasting benefits for Americans nationwide.

Closed out the first-ever Best Drone Warfighter Competition, and I’m so proud of every Soldier who competed. Creating opportunities like this to test Soldiers as they refine their mastery of new technology is what drives innovation. These Soldiers will be our leaders in the next fight.

Tomorrow, the first-ever Best Drone Warfighter Competition kicks off. These @USArmy Soldiers from Active Duty, Reserve, and National Guard units have worked hard innovating, training, and pushing their personal limits to be the best of the best. They are shaping the future of the battlefield and I’m excited to see which team rises to the top and earns the title of Best Drone Warfighter.
