This morning, warriors and families united for a Spiritual Fitness Prayer Gathering, welcoming Acting Secretary of the Navy, The Honorable Hung Cao, as guest speaker. Attendees of all faiths prayed together for our nation, partners, allies, and our Service Members and Families. Secretary Cao shared how through his personal faith, he forged an unbreakable ‘Will-to-Win’ on missions and in life.

It was a privilege to meet directly with our service members at an All-Hands and Prayer Breakfast, while receiving operational updates from ADM Cooper, ADM Bradley, and their leadership teams. Our discussions reinforced a fundamental truth: America is the best partner you could ask for—but if tested, we will be the worst enemy you’ll ever face. Today is bittersweet. We said goodbye to Jason Potter as he retired after 25 years of faithful service to the Department of the Navy—both in and out of uniform—and the U.S. Senate. Most recently, while Performing The Duties of Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development, and Acquisition, Jason decisively cleared barriers to start delivering the Golden Fleet, ensuring our @USNavy and @USMC team maintains undisputed maritime dominance. Our loss is industry’s gain. As he transitions to the private sector, we look forward to him continuing to equip our Sailors and Marines with the most lethal capabilities they need to fight, win, and return home. Today, more than 20 U.S. Navy warships are patrolling waters across the Middle East as CENTCOM forces continue promoting regional security and stability. Last month, U.S. naval warships and aircraft transited the Arabian Sea in close formation, demonstrating unmatched American military strength and firepower.
