GPT 5.5 is much smarter than I thought Yesterday, I did one-shots, coding, benchmarks, and was disappointed. Today, I did it all again, except via the API, which is now available. Results changed completely: → one-shot prompts went from bad to very good → excellent coding outputs, on both pi and holefill → benchmarks jumped, and now GPT *dominates* I don't know what happened, I suppose there is something wrong with my Codex. In any case, truth is this model is very smart. It obliterated my benchmark, which is crazy because some of these problems were meant not to be solved. I'll need much harder tasks. I also fixed 2 bugs that affected some providers: → added a retry for lost connection → removed the timeout limit DeepSeek and Kimi wanted to spend more than 1 hour on my prompts, so I let them. Their results are much better now. Kimi K2.6 almost reaches Sonnet 4.6, although much slower. Also this shows my points from last post were wrong Again: this is a new vibe-coded bench, I'm focused on other things, so expect bugs and don't over-read this! GLM 5.1, Gemma, Grok are not updated yet.

Let's call him Peter. 1️⃣ It all started after the @StreamDefi incident Right after the exploit, a random guy with a username MarvellousETH created a “private recovery Discord” and invited everyone who was affected. Many guys who joined that chat lost $50K+. 2️⃣ Peter joined among the first 20 people. The chat looked active: constant messages, discussions, analysis. Only later he realized: ~50% of the accounts were sockpuppets. Same people, rotating identities, creating the illusion of a busy, trusted community. Classic. 3️⃣ Though, real insiders occasionally showed up. Actual team members (0xLaw, Adonai) popped in sometimes to comment. Not involved in the scam, but their presence inadvertently validated the server for newcomers. Scammers LOVE anchoring themselves to legitimate voices. 4️⃣ Within days the chat was buzzing with: “How to recover funds via other projects” “Which opportunities help you earn back losses” Classic emotional leverage – revenge investing. Victims who lost money are the easiest targets. 5️⃣ Then came the private-group bait. Admins began hinting: “There’s a closed whales-only group.” “Access is limited until the legal side is cleared.” “We’re vetting people privately.” FOMO + exclusivity = peak manipulation. 6️⃣ Another admin from that chat DMed Peter and started asking: – How’s your mental state? – Are you stressed? – How much did you lose? – Do you need help earning it back? Peter lost 15% of his portfolio. Scammer knew there was 85% more. So he shared his personal experience: “I already recovered on Plasma.” “Now I’ll recoup the rest on Polymarket.” Feels like a friend who's here to help. 7️⃣ Then he introduced the crown jewel: A secret “50-man private deals” room with “guaranteed allocations.” To get in, Peter had to pass an interview. He refused to do so at that stage. 8️⃣ So, the guy needed to build trust. He sent Peter $5K upfront, saying: “The deal closes today, return it later.” This tactic is extremely rare. They rely on reciprocity and guilt to make victims commit to bigger transfers later. When my friend tried to refund… And it turned out that the wallet was blacklisted by Blockaid. That’s when everything clicked. 9️⃣ After speaking to a few trusted people, it got worse: They are running multiple parallel Discords, each with tailored scripts depending on the target. For another guy, they pitched something completely different: A discounted XUSD buyback at 70% – but routed through another maze of accounts, roles, and fake members. Entire scam factory, not a single Discord. *** Discord Usernames involved in this story: • MarvellousETH aka 100 (100xdreamer) – has @marvellous189 link in bio, not sure if X is affiliated • Panda (degenbera) *** Peter wasn't scammed, but the situation appears highly suspicious. It's likely that either a wallet interaction or a video call is central to this potential scam. It is targeting people who lost $50K+ on the XUSD drama. If you're a part of any discord server that is meant to "help" – be ultra attentive to whoever DMs you. Stay safe.

(btw, this mental health card is something he's played before after he extracted on TKN and then 2wks later was back in the trenches extracting again)
