Coming back to our family’s Minnesota farm always feels like coming home. I spent so much of my childhood here, and looking through these old family photos brings back the best memories. It’s a place that taught me the value of hard work, family, and faith. And it’s pretty special to be back here today. 🤍

Thanks to President Trump’s pro-growth, America First economic policies, we’re beginning to see real progress on affordability. Companies like C&S Wholesale Grocers, Walmart, Sam’s Club, Giant Eagle, and others are lowering prices at hundreds of stores across the country. Over the last several months, we’ve been working directly with grocers, retailers, and wholesalers to expand access to fresh, healthy, affordable food for American families. As the daughter of a small-town mayor who later served as county commissioner, I know firsthand the importance of local leadership. Our Founders intended for the people to govern themselves. A principle best lived out through local leaders who live in their communities, understand their needs, and share their challenges. So when I heard that nearly 40 mayors, county commissioners, and city managers were gathering just down the road from our @USDA event, I had to stop by and thank them for their service. It was wonderful meeting with local officials from across southern Arizona at the Cochise County Mayor-Manager Luncheon. Strong partnerships at every level are how we protect American agriculture and keep our rural and border communities strong.

NEW: The DOJ announces charges against 12 additional defendants in alleged fraud schemes targeting taxpayer-funded programs across the Southeast, involving more than $90 million in intended losses. Among the cases is an alleged $20 million food stamp fraud scheme tied to a Miami convenience store. Prosecutors say the defendants convinced SNAP recipients to exchange their benefits for cash at a discount. Federal officials say three of the four defendants have been arrested, including one taken into custody after arriving in the United States from Jordan.

Big news from beautiful Arizona!! 🇺🇸 Today, we announced the establishment of a new sterile fly dispersal facility in Douglas, Arizona. What an honor to stand with @RepCiscomani, @RepAndyBiggsAZ, and @RepEliCrane, local and state leaders, and most importantly some of our greatest Arizona ranchers - 5th, 6th and 7th generation (I see you @caseymurph1! ♥️) The sterile insect technique is the only proven method to eradicate New World screwworm, and we will continue expanding this critical tool to protect America’s livestock and food supply. We look forward to working with our local, state and federal partners to bring this facility online — just as we moved at TRUMP SPEED to accelerate operations at Moore Air Base in Texas, our COPEG facility in Panama, and the newly opened Metapa, Mexico facility (moving out sterile flies this week!) Our aggressive response to New World screwworm is working. As of today, there are just 9 active cases in the United States, and all animals affected so far have fully recovered. After meeting with @CBP and @USDA_APHIS teams today in Douglas, we are confident we can continue reopening commerce through our phased border reopening plan. The fight isn’t over, but we are making real progress. We will keep building on that momentum until New World screwworm is eradicated. God bless you Arizona! See you again soon. 🇺🇸
