I’m pretty sure Sikhs for Justice works for the Indian Government. Not all of them but whoever came up with the idea of disrupting a concert by yelling “Khalistan Zindabad” definitely does. This is exactly how you would act if you wanted to turn the next generation against the idea of Khalistan. No rational person or group would behave like this.

IF (and that is IF) Connor McDavid were to get traded before his new contract expires… The Montreal Canadiens make the most sense to me. They’re already contenders and have the assets to make it happen without compromising their current roster too much. They also have one of the best goaltending prospects in the game to send to Edmonton. This team is one more elite centre away from being at the top of the top, and McDavid would fit in like a glove. He could still bring the Cup back to Canada, just in blue, white… and red 🔵⚪️🔴

One of the worst things about Canada is how secretive the authorities are. If you're accused of first-degree murdering your kids (and driving their bodies around in a car the next day?), you shouldn't be entitled to privacy. This is everyone's business now.

They're renaming the friendly and familiar "Lewis Farms Community Recreation Centre" to "mistahaya wîkihk," which is even more offensive to the reader because it isn't pronounced as it is spelled.
Also, city property taxes are going up 6.9% this year.

These kids are learning Punjabi so they can speak to their grandparents. They’re clearly above fifth grade level English / public speaking.
Punjabi is obviously so much more useful than dead languages like French or Spanish for living in BC!
