If I had $50k to launch a new crypto brand today, here’s the exact split Assumptions: Early‑stage Web3 product with a live MVP (or very close), no existing community, 6–12 month runway. My only goal will be: real users + strong narrative. 1) $10k – Narrative, positioning & foundations Without a strong story, every dollar is wasted. > $4k: Strategy & narrative work > $3k: Brand & content system > $3k: Base setup 2) $15k – Founder‑led distribution on X (Crypto Twitter) Attention on CT is still the best unlock in Web3 if done right. > $5k: Content engine for 90 days > $5k: Spaces & series production > $5k: Design & micro‑assets 3) $15k – KOLs & creators (performance‑oriented) > $5k: Deep‑fit micro KOLs (5–20k followers) >$7k: Mid‑tier KOLs (20–200k followers) > $3k: Experimentation & testing 4) $5k – Community ignition & retention >$2k: On‑chain incentives > $2k: Events & rituals > $1k: Mods & community ops 5) $5k – Experiments, creative risks & “optionality” > $2k: New formats (short-form video test) > $2K: Collabs & ecosystem plays > $1k: Anti‑fragility That's roughly how I'll market the project with $50K. TL;DR allocation $10k – Narrative, brand, and infrastructure. $15k – Founder‑led X distribution (threads, Spaces, content engine). $15k – KOLs & creators with performance logic. $5k – Community ignition and retention. $5k – Experiments and optionality.

Crypto Winter prediction – How long will it last? It’s that time again, and if you’ve been around long enough you know the feeling. Crypto winter. The tulippers are out shouting "Bitcoin to Zero" for the n’th time. No amount of positive news has any effect on any token price. Folks are asking "Will crypto survive?". We’ve been there before, so, how long will it last? Let’s look at past cases, taking BTC price as our measure of winter. I’ll define winter duration as the time between one ATH to the point where price starts trickling up again. Here’s the plot with duration of past winters, and this one. If we assume this winter will be similar to previous ones, then the best case scenario is that we’re already in spring and things are starting to thaw up, and the worst case scenario is that we have another 11 months of winter. So I’ll go with something in between and say we have another 3 months of winter, assuming this one will be average (10 months long). Not investment advice. DYOR. What’s your prediction?

most chains pivoting to agents are doing a mistake the user you are now targeting has changed, agents: - dont care about your brand (is marketing still useful?) - dont care about your ecosystem (is bd still useful?) - dont care about your narrative they care about one thing: can you execute reliably, cheaply and predictably? so the priority stack flips: - execution quality → #1 - everything else → secondary and even more importantly: agents are pure utility maxxooors so they will route to whatever works best without hesitating this also breaks how distribution works before: distribution = communities you grow users → users bring usage now: distribution = interfaces you integrate → agents route flow to you if you are not the most convenient option, you dont lose slowly, you get completely bypassed in an hour this is an environment that most chains arent done for
nairolf@0xNairolf

the real success metric is becoming how often agents pick your product over others

Gold dumping 17% from ATH is saving Bitcoin's image. In a macro-uncertain and potentially inflationary environment where gold should perform well, it's selling off too. Narrows the gap between BTC and gold performance without BTC having to do anything. I wished BTC would save face by pumping to catch up with gold. But gold dumping achieves a similar effect. At the end of the day, liquidity flows drive the market. Everything is a trade in short-term periods.

Yes, the 4-year cycle has held every single time. People hate hearing that but the data doesn't care. That said, I'm not a "4-year cycle believer" in the way most people mean it. I don't think there's some mystical force resetting Bitcoin every 4 years. What actually happens is that time-based price structure, macro liquidity cycles and halving supply shocks just happen to converge on a roughly 4-year rhythm. It's not a prophecy, it's just confluence. But here's what most people miss: cycles are meant to evolve. As Bitcoin matures... ETFs, institutional custody, sovereign adoption the drawdowns get naturally shallower, the accumulation phases shift and eventually the pattern of price starts to changes shape on a macro scale. The 4-year cycle isn't dead yet, but it won't look like this forever.
RonMan@RonManX

@greenytrades Do you expect the cycle will diminish as BTC moves from whales to new holders and matures as an asset?

This guy bought 259,684 Bitcoin for $2,613 and the exchange reversed his trade the next day On June 19, 2011 a hacker broke into Mt. Gox and dumped a massive amount of stolen BTC Bitcoin crashed from $17 to $0.01 in 20 minutes While everyone panicked Kevin placed a buy order at a penny each His $2,613 bought 259,684 BTC and took out 643 BTC before the exchange locked withdrawals Mt. Gox rolled back every trade from the crash and wiped his account He posted on BitcoinTalk: "I'm Kevin, here's my side" Half the forum called him a hero The other half called him the hacker He was neither Just a smart guy who clicked buy during a crash and got everything taken from him Mt. Gox went bankrupt 3 years later anyway Those 259,684 BTC at today's price: over $18 billion

Middle East war hits critical energy infrastructure Iran targeted Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and the UAE This follows an Israeli strike on the South Pars gas field Brent crude oil jumped to $117 EU gas prices spiked 35% US gasoline reached their highest levels since 2022 Gold dropped below $4,700 and silver below $70 The Ras Laffan LNG hub in Qatar suffered extensive damage from two missile strikes This facility provides 20% of global LNG and 25% of global helium Helium shortages now threaten the semiconductor industry The US is considering a crude oil export tariff or a total ban The Pentagon requested over $200B to fund the war with Iran This exceeds the peak annual cost of the Iraq War Thousands of US troops may deploy to secure the Strait Investors moved away from risk assets Bitcoin dropped below $71,000, Ethereum fell over 6% Monitoring the situation here..
Carlitosway@Carlitoswa_y

Think -> research -> act -> brrrrrrr Oil and gas supply shortage -> price increase -> research beneficiaries -> deploy capital Lesson: not the cheapest entry, but caught the trend Exit once conflict and supply shock cool down Thirteen days, thesis validated, ath next Upcoming vacation paid!

Institutional legitimacy flywheel for Hyperliquid begins. Probably the single most credible TradFi endorsement any DeFi protocol has ever received. If S&P DJI is comfortable licensing their crown jewel index to trade on Hyperliquid, it dramatically lowers the perceived risk for other TradFi entities.
