@DavidDavisMP And it's very crafty. It is made extremely difficult for a patient to take action for a GP's late cancer diagnosis. I know, I've tried.

Settling into a new house. Tonight our dogs, TinTin and Bear, just started going barmy for no apparent reason. Then we saw the apparent reason. #Neighbours

9 hours to see a doctor, 30 hours on a corridor. Acutely confused, dysphagia, elevated WCC. Triaged by a nurse and initially offered oral paracetamol 🤷 Later required MRI, but not available at the weekend. Patient died aged 66! Hey @wesstreeting, much better under your watch!!

This bloke can’t speak English. He’s trying to make a point about how there are too many rats and ‘horse in road’ (I think?)…and he is running to be a councillor. Fantastic.

I’m absolutely consistent. I’m against Muslims praying in Trafalgar Square, and I’m against whatever the f*** this is.

There are two Palm Sunday hymns that spring to mind as my choirboy favourites: All glory, laud and honour and Ride on, ride on in majesty. The big memory was getting the palm cross and taking it home to show everyone. As head choirboy at St Mary’s, Harefield, Middlesex (below) this coming Holy Week was always a powerful time for a 7 year old that’s stayed with me for all my 75 years. Palm crosses hold deep spiritual symbolism. They serve as a reminder of both Jesus’ triumph and His sacrifice: A Symbol of Victory – Just as the people celebrated Jesus as King with palms, the cross represents His ultimate victory over sin and death. A Sign of Humility – The journey of Christ from Palm Sunday to Good Friday reminds us of His humility and obedience to God. A Reminder of Easter’s Promise – Palm crosses, often kept throughout the year, serve as a visual cue of Jesus’ resurrection and the hope it brings. It’s a powerful day full of sadness and remembrance of losing my grandmother on Palm Sunday 1997 as she was released from pain in Mount Vernon Hospital, Northwood, Middlesex. Sending you all my love this day which starts Holy Week 💜 🙏 ✝️

To anyone who still thinks the #NHS is a U.K. national treasure. Take it from many of us old school British trained Doctors and Nurses it’s certainly NOT. In fact what it has become imo is dangerous. Totally unrecognisable from when I trained. Patient safety gone. The term ‘nursing’ is disappearing to be replaced with ‘care’ and ‘carers’ 🤔😏😥 What I, as an old school nurse is observing & hearing from other’s is a TICK box ✅ industry and a grossly UNDERskilled and often UNDERqualified workforce attempting complex and life changing procedures. Basic nursing care appears to have vanished 😥 DO YOU KNOW WHO IS LOOKING AFTER YOU OR YOUR LOVED ONES IN NHS OR CARE SECTOR, what they’re trained in? Where they’ve trained! 🤔🤷‍♀️ Ask the question

@DebiEvansMatron I do diligently look that up. And it is usually under par training. Take most “specialists” and they no longer wish to advance medicine. Complacency is the order of the day.

The Uniparty fighting for survival. A former Labour mayor telling people in Hillingdon to vote Conservative… to stop Reform. They’re not even pretending anymore. Two parties. One self-serving cartel.

@SkyJacquie You did the right thing. Happens to the best of cat owners. There are just some areas you won’t get to even with a conventional brush when cats have coats such as this. An undercoat deshedding tool (like the Furminator) should do the trick.

After work I spent a long time at the vet having matted fur clipped off one of the cats ! 🐈‍⬛ It’s never happened before and she’s only 2 - I brush her regularly any other tips ? Thought cats were self sufficient - she seemed happier after 🐈‍⬛
