If super is due to observational dimensions, then to me it has to be general - narrow domains are just a human constraint due to our small power / low number of observational dimensions.
If you are super intelligent. Is there any observational difference/distance between genetics & chess?

Definitionally I guess any AI that has more “intelligence” (whatever that means) than every human in any given domain is “super”. I presume an AI that is better than any human at genetics, as a narrow AI is not better than any human at chess.
Are you suggesting that is impossible to contain narrow AI and that they will all eventually become AGI?

What we need is a super intelligent narrow AI that its sole purpose is to keep ahead of threats that super AGI could pose.
The threat will only become existential if ASI can remove control of the physical world from humans. While ever we control the energy and compute, we have a chance.
Rather than relying on governments to do something (as they don’t have a good track record), we need to invest in companies that will provide this narrow super AI. They will essentially be the new generation of anti-virus companies.

Honestly, I feel the funds could be better spent on funding a network of offices globally that operate like our Buenos Aires office with biweekly events, hackathons, community aggregation, and venture incubation. For the cost of this proposal, 5-6 offices could be run for a year including staff. We regularly have events of 100-200 two a month in BA with the Pythathon being the most recent. We have to grow the base and spread the good word, not have expensive parties with the converted.

So while it is disappointing that our Cardano in Oceania strategy wasn’t approved, I think the thing that disappoints me the most is that almost 70% of DRep voting power either abstained or just didn’t vote. To me this doesn’t signal a healthy governance system. Only one proposal so far has managed to get approved without being supported by @IntersectMBO. This should be a concern for those who value a diverse and robust ecosystem. Thank you to everyone who voted Yes 🙏 Also, thank you to those who voted No, but provided a constructive rationale for consideration. I think that @hoskytoken summed it up best in his awesome rationale, where he states that our proposal aligns with his commitment to “decentralization by ensuring diverse voices and geographies contribute to Cardano’s global resilience” with an “emphasis on adoption through real-world solutions rather than speculative or vanity projects. By engaging universities, businesses, and civic organizations, it brings new expertise and partnerships into the ecosystem.” while at the same time “responsible treasury use” is ensured “through milestone-based funding, transparent reporting, and independent auditing, ensuring resources are allocated responsibly with measurable outcomes.” What a good dog 🐶❤️😊
