2) Here and elsewhere, the impact of having a largely homogeneous leadership team is apparent. This issue has undoubtedly been discussed internally for weeks, and the AUA's position is markedly different from medical societies with more diverse boards.

A few thoughts on yesterday's statement from @AmerUrological: 1) Clearly an effort to appease rather than lead, with 1 sentence for those who think this isn't the AUA's domain and 1 for those who think it is. The result is a conflicting statement which misses the mark. (1/5)
