There will be a lot of hot takes blaming Harris and Democrats for this and that. Still, maybe the simplest explanation is the right one: Americans didn't want a female President again and many live in a right-wing information ecosystem that dominates news & how people see the world.

It's not just that Trump won. It's that Joe Rogan, Dana White and Brett Favre won. Jailed insurrectionists won. The Alitos and the Thomases won. Vladimir Putin won. Racism won. Misogyny won. Sexism won. Global warming won. Xenophobia won. Most of all: Fear Won. That's what hurts.

Whiteness is ideological, not physical. Hence: people of color voting for Trump.

This IS the bad place

White people in America should never again talk about criminal behavior, amongst Black people, immigrants, or anyone else when they are literally casting ballots for a convicted felon to be president of the United States.

She destroys him in a debate, so badly that he won’t debate again. He bungles his way through absurd rallies. He insults more than half the population. He wants to implement appalling policies. And the election is razor thin. This country is INSANE.
