International Women’s Day is usually when one wants to run away from promotional fluff and predictable pitches. But this one is rather thoughtfully done. It questions who we actually perceive to be “women in aviation”.
Air India Newsroom@AirIndia_News

We are building a future that is bolder, smarter and more inclusive than ever. As we work towards shaping the future of aviation with our fleet expansion plans, upcoming flying school, Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) facility, and more, #WomenInAviation will play a pivotal role in powering us through. We need to break barriers today for a limitless tomorrow. #InternationalWomensDay #AirIndia

Huge congratulations to @AirIndia and every single crew member onboard AI916D for bringing 149 passengers home safely. In moments like these, aviation becomes more than schedules and sectors, it becomes a lifeline. Kudos to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, DGCA, Delhi Airport, Dubai Airports and all authorities involved for the coordination and swift action. This is what teamwork at 35,000 feet truly looks like. @MoCA_GoI @DGCAIndia @DelhiAirport @DubaiAirports

In moments of disruption, getting people home safely matters most. Glad the Maharaja could be there when it counted.

Always a special feeling to see an @airindia aircraft outside India. But today it is an entirely different feeling. 100x the normal feeling. I came to New York for just 2 days and what a time I selected!!! I was to board an @emirates flight to Dubai two hours ago which was canceled. I was to spend two days in my Dubai office. That isnt happening now. I hope @dubai gets back to normal soon! Prayers. Now, the Maharaja is getting me home.🙏 And non stop!!! Last minute booking. Literally. Just boarded. 🤞 Thanks @airindia

Meals are a highlight of the flying experience for me. There’s something special about dining at 35,000 feet. Both the breakfast and dinner served on my @airindia flights this past weekend were delicious, and the onboard service was outstanding throughout. Well done! #AvGeek

Thank you @himantabiswa for getting @VFSGlobal to open a visa facilitation centre in Guwahati. The Gateway city is now on its way to become a travel hub.
senjam raj sekhar@senjam

Guwahati cannot be a true global hub until @VFSGlobal opens a center for Schengen & other visas here. Why should thousands from Assam & the NE be forced to spend on expensive airfares & hotels in Kolkata and Delhi just for biometrics and passport submission? @himantabiswa
