@crags13 @localpodcaster People need to understand that there’s 2 sets of tv rights. There’s the national tv rights which sportsnet owns and the local Sens tv rights which tsn owns. As long as there is this type of system, there will always be blackouts when the game is aired on tsn.

I'm hearing a new media rights deal between Bell and the Senators is in place, with an announcement expected soon (maybe a week or two). Sounds like it includes a change to the Bell Sensplex naming rights. The venue will no longer carry the Bell name and it's expected there will be a few other changes in the deal as well.

The new Sens App tells you how long is left in the intermission. I am a huge fan of this feature Just another win for Ian Sensdes

Its so wild to look back on cuz he was inches away from the Detroit player taking the puck and scoring on a breakaway. If that happened we'd be rightfully concerned about his "defensive readiness". But the play worked and thats all that matters now.

Unpopular opinion: I think that the Ottawa Senators defensive play and structure will help them survive without Sanderson and Chabot until 85 comes back. I am not worried. It will be an adjustment but watching last nights game (yes, I know it was vs NYR) leaves me hopeful

I think tomorrow you go: Kleven-Spence Yakemchuk-Zub Hamara-Matinpalo With Matinpalo taking occasional shifts from the T4 who will play ~50 min combined. They’ll need Yakemchuk to try to pitch in offensively in Chabot’s absence. Zub on his pair is the safest way to do that
