Army PFC. Bryant Womack of NC was the only medic on a patrol ambushed during the Korean War. While treating wounded soldiers under heavy fire, he was critically wounded & lost his arm to a mortar blast. Even then, he refused treatment & continued directing care for others. war.gov/News/Feature-S…

We had a @SenateCommerce hearing this morning to actually get work done—the job the American people are paying us to do. Democrats didn’t show up. Meanwhile, TSA agents are showing up for work every day & not getting paid because Dems refuse to fund DHS. Completely out of touch.

American Dennis Coyle has been released after over a year in captivity. We thank @POTUS and the @StateDept for their help in bringing him home and urge the release of all other unjustly detained Americans and an end to the Taliban’s hostage diplomacy.

Earlier this month, I met Molly, Amy, and Patti as they asked for help freeing their brother Dennis Coyle from detention in Afghanistan. Today, Dennis is on his way home. We thank the UAE and Qatar for their support. The release is a positive step towards ending the practice of hostage diplomacy.
