@notThatAlxJones @TheNotoriousHRT You're delusional buddy. I take clients and large groups to restaurants all the time and roll my eyes at how much an 18% tip is on a $700-$1000 bill. Their tip goes up $40 because of the bottle of wine they bring over. Exact same work but $40 more because of the brand.

@jsin215 @TheNotoriousHRT They make $15-20 per hour salary and then being in at least half of the tips collect, they probably keep 75-95% of the tip realistically. So yeah, servers make tons of money and even more with restaurant prices doubling over the last 5yrs.

@jsin215 @TheNotoriousHRT Dinner with drinks is like $200 easily for a couple. $40 tip, they do 4-6 tables per hour. That's $160-240 of tips coming in per hour.

@AllLoveCoco The kid has always been with a parent or family member and never been in danger, ever. It's never a boogeyman stealing a kid off a playground. This is NOT what the amber alert system was designed for.

@AllLoveCoco No. If I had a parental dispute with my partner about them being late for a drop off I wouldn't want an Amber Alert issued across the province at 1am. That was never the intent of the system but that's the reason it's been used for every single one. Enough is enough.

Why I don't ride anymore :( Although speed may have been a factor, this collision was apparently due to the driver of the BWM turning left on green directly into the motorcycle's path -- one of the biggest causes of motorcycle fatalities.

Horrific scene near the Surrey/Delta border on Scott Rd following a collision b/w a vehicle & a motorcycle. Delta Pd say the motorcycle rider sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries & was transported to hospital. The driver of the vehicle was not injured. Scott Rd b/w 72 & 70 Ave is currently closed.

Yikes that scared the shit out of me just now. Amber Alert issued from up North in BC. Was much more worried it was Cascadia until I read it after being blasted awake from a deep sleep. Not complaining at all, hope they find the them!
