Key point here is that this is the result of policy choices. Not an accident or unforeseen consequence.

The Home Secretary deliberately incited hate & violence on Armistice Day at the actual Cenotaph. Household name journalists, editors & politicians gleefully joined in. This is not normal. They will be absolutely livid that the peace march proceeded peacefully. They are dangerous.

The scenes of disorder we witnessed by the far-right at the Cenotaph are a direct result of the Home Secretary’s words. The police's job has been made much harder. The Met have my full support to take action against anyone found spreading hate and breaking the law.
