Nintendo simply way overshot their estimation. Apparently they planned for 6 million units per quarter now reduced to 4 million. 6 million per quarter is insane. That 24 million per fiscal year and that's not including the holiday surge. 16M per FY is more reasonable.

Nintendo literally built the havok physics engine with an internal demo of Zelda 1 NES to test the game systems, and doesn't hold your hand the exact same way the first game did.

Actual missed opportunity from Nintendo to not make BOTW a new IP. There’s almost no Zelda DNA in the game. No OST, no structure, no story, full voice acting, the main character costume isn’t Link’s. Change the name of the map and the two heroes and there’s nothing of Zelda left.

@SonicHero3D What point are you trying to make here? PS5 was supply constrained for 2 years, Switch 2 was supply constrained for zero days. The fact that PS5 is now regularly winning every region outside Japan (despite being over half a decade old) does not look good for Switch 2.
