I was planning to take my sister to Redwood Regional park this weekend. She’s already been to Muir Woods.
But EPRPD is closed for now.
So what are the other *easy* redwood forest hikes near Oakland or SF that you folks on here recommend?

@lymanstoneky EV charging stations can be easily placed in any parking lot, trapping customers for 30 minutes, which retail will love. Unlike gas stations, there's no need to constantly refill with trucks or buy dedicated land.

This is actually a big scaling problem for EVs.
If max range influences uptake of EVs...
And people envision occasional trips beyond max range requiring charging-away-from-home....
... but away-from-home infrastructure is much rarer than gas stations...
do the math.

Why aren't power outages borne by the heaviest users first? If someone has A/C, a pool pump, hot tub, etc and uses lots of power and taxes the grid, why shouldn't they be first to get cut over people with no A/C?

@BrokeAssStuart There was a bill this session that would have allowed exactly that. CA has 1000 public golf courses, many of them lose money. Yet communities aren't allowed to turn them into affordable housing. Great podcast about it: calmatters.org/multimedia/pod…. The bill failed :(
